My son loves this club! He comes back and shoots magical questions to us and explains how he solves them. Loads of fun!

My 7yr old has really enjoyed the club which has been running at her school for a few weeks. She did a division sum in her head last week, and told me about the bus stop method.
I asked where she had learned this and she told me it was at Magical Maths. I asked what she thought of the club. She said "Normally, maths at school is quite boring and I don't enjoy it. But at Magical Maths, they make maths so fun, I love it! It's amazing."
She has become quite disillusioned in Year 3 at how boring school can be sometimes (not like the experiential play in Year R and Year 1).
Thank you for making maths magical for my kid 🙂

My 5 year old son really enjoys going to Magical Maths at Sturry Primary School and loves showing us what he's learnt that week.
It's also really helpful to have a club he's enthusiastic about straight after school without any extra travel.
Looking forward to seeing what he shows us after the club this week.

Our son loves magical maths club. He definitely seems to be picking up new things over and above what he learns in school and he enjoys the various characters that run the sessions. The materials used are really imaginative and well-put together - very engaging. We would 100% recommend this club!

Sadly, my very enthusiastic son just didn't enjoy these sessions and was glad when the 6th session was complete. I think it is oversold to the children in school assembly, especially the younger kids. He came home super excited to "learn magic" and hasn't learnt anything magical at all -not even any number tricks, as he is only 6. He was disappointed that the Professor only attended the first session and then felt like the other 5 sessions were "just another school lesson". He brought home an activity sheet each week that was either not filled in at all or had been filled in mostly wrong, but nobody had reviewed it or helped him to correct his answers; it appears they were just left to their own devices to complete it. Sadly, my reflection is that this is an overpriced, oversold, after-school club, where he hasn't developed any additional maths ability. Maybe a bit more realism in the sales pitch might mean you're not setting yourselves up for disappointed children...?

My Year 5 son absolutely loves Magical Maths. He comes out every week laughing about something Professor Poopenshtinken has said or done. Even the taster session at Parkwood Primary school had him buzzing. I get told every week about all the fun activities they've been up to and he's looking forward to turning the school into a bowling alley next week!?! Well worth the money to see the excitement on my sons face all whilst learning too. Even emails home to parents will make you smile :) Would definitely recommend!

My daughter attends magical maths at wainscott primary school. She looks forward to it each week. She loves every session and can’t wait to tell me what she learned. She gets booklets to take home each week and yesterday she got 2 reward stickers for working so hard. Brilliant. Good decision to sign her up. She is having fun and learning. Highly recommend

My son really enjoys Magical maths. Usually he comes home not wanting to do any work but find that after his session with Magical maths, he comes home excited wanting to show what he has learnt and continues trying out the methods he has learnt.

My child really enjoyed the Magical Maths course that she attended in her school and cant wait to rejoin in September! She loved showing me all the number tricks she learnt and I feel that she is alot more confident with her maths. I would definitely recommend this afterschool club.

Unfortunately my daughter didn't enjoy magical maths as she found it too noisy and chaotic so couldn't often follow what was going on. The organiser emailed me twice to check on how she was enjoying it which was nice .... Except both times when I raised the above issue, it was ignored and nothing was replied or changed
