I recently had an unfortunate…

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Maggiebrits.co.uk (known as Maggie Bigaj) when seeking breeding services for my cat. I initially entered an agreement for 2-3 mating attempts, but due to the extreme stress this caused my cat, only one attempt was made. Maggies agreed that my cat did find it stressful and was unsettled evidences in text messages.
Upon approaching the breeder to discuss a partial refund for the unused portion of the service, I was met with refusal and an unwillingness to negotiate. Despite my attempts to resolve the matter amicably, I was left significantly out of pocket and dissatisfied with the lack of understanding and fairness displayed.
This business appears to be friendly and professional at the start, but from my experience this business does not operate in the welfare of animals. We discussed my nerves as a first-time customer but was reassured by the breeder. Therefore, when things went wrong I expected more compassion and a customer-oriented approach. I paid £350, provided wet and dry food, and treats for 4 nights and feel ripped off. Whilst I agree that I changed my mind to proceed based on the welfare of my cat, Maggie Bigaj would not accept that it was in the cats best interest to terminate This has left me questioning the breeders ethics and taught me that she does not prioritise the well-being of the animals involved or demonstrate fairness and understanding in their dealings with customers. Please be careful and ensure you have a written contract in place. Thank you.
