We are so pleased with our new door that Stevie made and fitted. Our previous door had a broken lock. Stevie collaborated with stained glass artist Emma McDermott to provide us with a door exactly as agreed in time for Christmas. Stevie was professional throughout and kept us informed of anything we needed to know. The door was efficiently and tidily fitted. He is a skilled craftsman and we have no hesitation in recommending him. Thank you.

Having experienced the quality of Stevie’s work before, we very much wanted him to replace all of our windows and wooden trim with bespoke pieces. We didn’t even consider using anyone else. That confidence was very much the correct decision as the finished results are quite outstanding! Our house is very old and even its current configuration dates back to 1707, so there isn’t a single straight line, straight wall, or duplicate measurement anywhere in the house, and hundreds of years of previous repairs and modifications made the commission extremely difficult for Stevie. But, he and Ethan showed what true craftsmen they are and not only built every piece as unique items, but also fitted internal panelling and finishings to perfectly match the style of the windows. We left the design work to Stevie and we are so impressed with the results. Even our neighbours have commented that the new work has transformed our house.

We have been absolutely delighted with Stevie's work and it has really transformed our living space. From first contact to completion, he has been reliable and helpful, listening to what we wanted and bringing it to life. We would not hesitate to recommend him and his team.

Steve Maddock and his team over the past few months have painstakingly transformed our Victorian home by carefully removing and refurbishing all thirteen sash and case windows which had been painted shut for decades, replicating and installing a superb hardwood back door and using incredible skill, workmanship and patience to remove, replicate and install an intricate oriel balcony window.
Their skills, knowledge and experience are exceptional and their appreciation, respect and understanding of historical buildings is superb.
They have been a pleasure to have in our home, always there when they said and kept us advised and updated throughout.
Steve’s dedication, commitment and patience shown to his apprentices is commendable and the fact he employed apprentices was a deciding factor in choosing MJM.

We had a wait to get a slot in the work shop for building the stairs. Stevie came out for the final measurements prior to making the stairs in the workshop. The stairs were delivered to the house & was fitted by independent joiners. Everything fitted together perfectly only small site cut to be done for the final fitting. I wanted the stairs to be made with all natural oak ( not the butcher block effect ) I have to say that I’m very pleased with the stairs and the finishing on them is first class. Seeing the finished product that Stevie & his team have produced it was well worth the wait to get them manufactured by Maddock joinery services. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stevie Maddock joinery services to anyone. They supplied exactly what I wanted, with guidance along the way on how thing would look like on the finished product. A very happy customer 👍

We have used MJM several times in the past and have not been disappointed. Stevie has helped advise on replacement windows, replacement porch and replacement shed and garage doors for a listed building. MJM built a porch in front of our house. It was a difficult job but was completed on time ,within the estimate and finished to the highest standard. Stevie and his staff are superb craftsmen who take great pride in a job well done.

Steve made a bespoke set of oak treads for a single stringer staircase on a house we are renovating. The stairway was complex as we didn't have a lot of room but steve made sure everything would fit. His work is amazing and we are so happy with our new staircase. Highly recommend and thanks again.

Commissioned Stevie to manufacture, supply and fit a front door to a property registered in a conservation area. This was bespoke door at and needed to be fully compliant. MJM, Stevie, manufactured this one off door to a very high standard. We are delighted and recommend them without hesitation.

Maddock Joinery created Bespoke storage for my daughters bedroom and also my office along with bespoke sized doors. 10/10
