We found the Mac man stall at the end…

We found the Mac man stall at the end of The Killers gig at Ingliston.
What a treat to get Macaroni with toppings very tasty and real big portions. I ended up bring mine home and had it today.
Well done Mac man.
I will look out for you at future events.

Excellent Service

I needed to replace my ancient and creaky imac, so bought (via Amazon renewed) a 2017 iMac 27inch. It was delivered promptly but immediately developed some faults. Fixio tried curing the faults over the phone, but when that didn’t work immediately had the machine picked up, the faults were cured and the machine returned after testing. A follow-up phone to check all was ok was the icing on the cake.
First rate polite service.

Totally recommend MacMan Brighton

MacMan Brighton just saved my mid 2014 Macbook Pro from joining all my other junk in the attic. New battery and new 1TB SSD, have been fitted and the computer thoroughly checked over and the hinge all fixed for a tad over £500. What's best of all is they reckon my machine will last for another 4 or so years, despite the very heavy use it gets being a key part of my kit as a fashion photographer. I had previously contacted an apple approved repair place - MR in Islington London, only to be told my machine was now classified as 'vintage', so it could not be repaired. Dan and Ryan at MacMan Brighton are totally dedicated to keeping older Macs out of landfill (or attic) and to all of us that love them, getting best value for money. 100% recommend.

Affordable and responsive, so would recommend

My phone was repaired at a great price. Considering I could not get it to turn on myself to back up anything, I am grateful that the repair was affordable. It was just walking distance to get to them (from the little roundabout) and they're happy for you to book to set up slots for dropping off the phone, which works well. They also accomodated only contacting by emailing as I had no working number during the repair, which was helpful. Recommend them.

Feel free to contact me for the whole story which spanned over six weeks for an iPad repair. I’m really surprised this company are still operating.

If I could give half a star, I would

If I could give half a star, I would. Could not believe the lack of professionalism and efficiency. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

I brought my old ipad to them as it was running slowly because the battery needed to be replaced. I asked what the turn around time would be and they said one day, maybe two. Over a week later, still no ipad and I'm beginning to get the run around from macman. Finally, they admit to me that my ipad has stopped working entirely, they do not know what they've done to it but they cannot get it to turn back on. Not only did they show no remorse for rendering my ipad entirely useless, they evaded responsibility entirely, offering me no solutions or compensation.

After a little pushing, they offered me £50 off an old refurbished ipad, a mere pittance in comparison to the value my ipad held before it was relinquished into their custody. After weeks of negotiation via email and telephone, I finally got them to (very begrudgingly) provide me with £100 off an older model refurbished ipad. This almost felt like a win considering the amount of time and effort I'd spent in order to get any sort of equitable compensation, but they decided to screw me over one last time charging me £40 more than THE APPLE STORE CHARGED FOR A NEW ONE. So considering this and the fact that I could've easily sold my original ipad for £150 online, used, in the condition it was, I literally would've been better off if I had never even heard the name Macman.

The icing on the cake is that every single person that I dealt with at the shop was so rude and inconsiderate every single time I had to contact them, even though I had done nothing untoward to them and they were the ones that broke my ipad, then made me fight for weeks just to get fair compensation for their negligence.

We regularly receive 5-star reviews from customers old and new, but we’re never complacent and I guess there will always be some people who we simply can’t please, no matter how expert our skills or excellent our customer service.

Excellent service and transparent on £. Was nervous about using them to repair iPhone, but very pleased with the result. Great service ethos and deservedly get 5*.
