I am updating my original review. After posting, the issue was resolved in less than 24 hours.
My account access was fully restored, and the problem is now completely settled. While the initial support was slow (perhaps because they are a new company), their response to a serious concern was swift and effective once escalated.
Maclear has proven to be legit, and the payout process works well. I hope we can continue to do business together for a long time.

I deposited 500€ and everything was fine. The next month, I deposited another 500€, but then they asked me to verify my address, which they already had on file. They also requested a document, which I sent, but a bug in the platform is preventing it from being accepted.
The support team takes weeks to respond, and I still can't access my own money. THEY'VE LOCKED MY MONEY AWAY, AND I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO TOUCH IT FOR A MONTH!

Why is my account not credited and why is the support not responding?
At the opening of my account in august 10th I transferred money from my bank account. I've got the confirmation by e-mail of my transfer but after more than 5 weeks my account is still not credited. Sinds this confirmation the support does not answer my emails. I have also sent a request to "info at maclear" to bring the absence of answer under the attention.
Without any response I can suspect a lot of bad things.
UPDATE: A couple of days after posting my review, my account was credited. Sinds this moment everything is working as intended and I am a happy investor on the platform.
I also received an apology from the support team for the delays and a small cash amount as compensation which is nice to get.

I joined Maclear on July 22, 2025, attracted by what seemed like a transparent, euro-based crowdlending platform with strong marketing and appealing returns. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing from the start, and I feel compelled to share the details for the benefit of other potential investors.
1. Bonus Conditions Were Unclear, Support Was Too Slow
Within the first week, I tried to make a qualifying deposit to receive their advertised bonus. I initiated a transfer from my brokerage account — which bears the same name and address as my Maclear profile — but only later learned (through trial and error) that Maclear requires deposits to come from a traditional bank account, not a brokerage.
I contacted support immediately, but because it was the weekend, no one responded in time. By the time I finally heard back from Wenzel, a member of their team, two critical days had already passed, and I had missed the bonus window entirely. This could have been avoided with clearer onboarding and faster customer support.
2. Primary Market Listings Are Misleading
Once I was verified and my €1,000 deposit was received, I attempted to invest in a project listed in the Primary Market as euro-denominated. However, upon clicking into the project, I was redirected to an external site (8lends.io), where the investment was denominated in USDC (crypto) — not euros.
There was no prior warning of this currency switch, nor any clear path for a user holding euros to convert or invest. I wrote again to ask how I could invest my €1,000 — but days passed with no actionable guidance. To this day, I still haven’t received a straight answer about how to invest in a real euro-based project from my bank deposit.
3. Email Marketing Lacks Transparency
Marketing emails sent from Maclear include bold calls to action like “Invest Now,” but when clicked, they lead to glossy company dossiers — without any investment buttons, no mention of the required currency, and no explanation of how to proceed. You’re left confused, unable to act on the opportunity. If investment is only possible by logging into the dashboard, that should be made clear.
4. Crypto Course Quality Is Poor
I also completed Maclear’s free “Crypto Course,” which is a set of seven videos narrated by the CCO in heavily accented English, with poor production quality. Slides are auto-translated by AI, and the platform even asks users to rate the AI-generated text. This doesn’t inspire much confidence in a platform handling real investor funds.
5. No Real-Time Customer Support
Unlike other platforms I use (like QuantFury), Maclear has no phone line or live chat during weekends, and its chatbot simply collects your email. If you need help — especially when your money is on the line — you’re often left waiting with no one to speak to. This is a major concern.

In the end, I requested a full withdrawal of my €1,000, which I received a few business days later. I have left my Maclear account open but inactive, and I will not be reinvesting. Between the lack of transparency, confusing investment paths, delayed customer service, and misleading marketing, I simply cannot recommend Maclear in its current form.
Red flags:
• Marketing e-mails are pointless. The subject introduces a “new company”; the big “Invest now” button opens a glossy PDF that never states the currency and contains no link or instructions to invest—the trail just ends.
• “Current projects” list is just as empty. Scroll down, click the project thumbnails, get more slick PDFs—again no currency disclosure and no way to place an order. Why label the button Invest now if you can’t?
• Crypto course = low-budget production. Seven beginner-level videos narrated by the CCO in heavily accented English; slides are machine-translated and the platform even asks me to rate the AI text. Hardly confidence-inspiring for a financial firm.
• Support silence. Still no explanation of where the EUR projects went or how to invest my €1 000, so I have initiated a full withdrawal.
Verdict: unclear, non-transparent, a time-sink—cannot recommend.

You're correct that it's a younger project with fewer companies currently, but we're growing and have already funded $1.5M USDC in projects.
About the crypto course - please don't judge too harshly! We clearly marked it multiple times as "for beginners" and "beginner-friendly." We felt it was better to compile basic information ourselves - what we consider essential for our investors to avoid simple mistakes in peer to peer investing - rather than send them elsewhere.
I'm sorry we left you with an impression of being unclear and non-transparent, despite our managers and moderators helping you with your deposit via email and answering your questions in our chat. We clearly need to improve how we communicate our processes for crowdlending and passive income opportunities.

No problems so far
So far I have had good experiences with Maclear. Deposits/withdrawals have worked without any problems and I receive the interest on time.
Except for 8lends, you have to be very careful. There is a helpful Telegarm group but you have to be very careful who you trust because there are a lot of scammers. But even here it helps to follow a few rules - then there are no problems. However, I prefer to invest with Maclear myself. This is my preferred investment class for P2P investments.
