They advertise that it's free. "Mac Cleaner Free" in the heading. The program is free, if you want it to actually do anything you have to pay monthly/annually.

Do not advertise as free if it is clearly not. Rather say 'free trial'. This is deceptive practice. There are a range of similar programs out there which are truly free. It wasn't hard to find one.

They say limited functionality after the free trial, and only the advanced features are restricted by paywall. This too I would consider deceptive. Personally, I would consider the app useless after the so-called free trial unless subscribing.

Couldn't imagine what I would do without my MacKeeper. The scan option is very easy to navigate . I really like that it gives me percents which makes it clear it to me where I am in a cleaning process. Initially, had some issues in the Security section of the app, which was my antivirus. Failed to activate it , despite trying to do it on my own. Only then I gave up and decided to contact their support. It turnd out to be an issue with my real time protection, the agents were very polite and helped me enable it. I could not recommend this app enough

Very quick and professional answers to technical problems.

Impossible to cancel the renewal. The process is confusing and there is always an extra step that you are guaranteed to miss. Then they charge you for yet another year. You can try all you want to get a refund they will not give it. They keep calling me "a very loyal customer" - but I just can't cancel their renewals happening... SOOOOO very annoying!

On April 30, 2025, the agile team of MacKeeper provided me with spontane and very efficient help by reinstalling my MacKeeper Program and its licence. Previously my PC had closed down and all programs become lost. The team saved my life! And it took no more than 20 min. for this most efficient work! I am infinitely thankful for your help! Super annoying and won't let you do anything on it or even on your entire macbook if you don't pay. Along with that, 5 viruses came in when I installed mackeeper DIRECTLY from the website!
