Misleading product, poor quality, and abusive customer service – stay away
I placed an order through lyresin.com, believing I was purchasing from a U.S.-based artisan brand. The site displayed a U.S. address, professional product photos, and claimed handcrafted quality. I paid $134.90, including $35 for express shipping.
Only later did I discover that the item was shipped from Vietnam, 15 days after payment, despite the express fee. The lamp I received looked nothing like the photos: scratched, poorly made, and felt mass-produced. It was a disappointing imitation of the product shown on their website.
The most troubling part is that Lyresin appears to operate under multiple names. Their Instagram icon links directly to the account of artlemi.com, and I received email replies from both Artlemi and Lyresin representatives. The products and photos are the same — just repackaged under different store names. That’s not transparency, that’s intentional confusion.
When I contacted them for a refund, they refused to cover return shipping (€48.50) and instead offered a partial refund or discount coupon. When I insisted on my rights, they became increasingly defensive and even threatened legal action.
This company’s behavior is anything but professional. They misrepresent their business, overcharge for low-quality goods, and try to intimidate customers who push back. I have reported them to PayPal, Shopify, and copyright holders for deceptive and possibly fraudulent practices.
Avoid this shop. They do not deserve your trust — or your money.
