Would put 0 star if I could. I have bought a SIM card three times from them. Not once have I been able to activate the internet. Called customer service, Unable to help and they told me to go to a seller. In Switzerland at least the sellers don't know anything and are unhelpful.

It is working BUT problems from start to end. I had two Lyca numbers in two different countries. The experience was similar in both countries, confusing service and very slow customer service.I needed a new sim in Switzerland, I thought I try Lyca. After like four days of using it I bought a different sim from a different company.
Here are a few reasons why I was unhappy with the service:-I needed the sim quickly so I bought it from a small shop instead of buying it online because delivery could take some time-in the independent shop where they were selling mobile phones as well they had sim cards with different offers. Maybe they were older sim cards but they didn't have the same offers as they had on the Lyca website.-I needed to pay a 10 CHF activation fee, when I said to the shop owner that the Lyca website says NO activation fee, he said if I buy it from the shop I have to pay it( I thought I pay it instead of waiting for the online order to arrive)-I bought the card with 10 CHF on it,so I paid 20 in total. My plan was that I am going to put more money on the sim and activate the option I wanted. I realized that If I wanted to activate the option I wanted I couldn't use the credit on the card. I would have to pay for that option with a debit card online. So I used up the 10 CHF I had on the sim and I bought a different sim...Overall a lot of things were confusing, I am not going to write down all the small annoying things.I had a very similar experience with a Lyca card a few years ago in a different country.I bought a new sim from a different company here in Switzerland and the experience was much much better. I can't even compare the two.

I included my phone number when I wrote my review. So my review is based on real-life experience. Lyca acknowledged that they recognized my number. BUT they are trying to delete the review!Well, this is why they don't have many bad reviews, very unprofessional!Also when I sent an email to Lyca customer service it took them days to answer. After I wrote my feedback here it took them only a few hours to answer.

along with not a great understanding of the information I was giving.
whilst it was helpful and it gave me the information i needed, it took too long and i still have areas of not understanding.

Lyca has been responsive to my enquiries via email having the replies within 1-2 days in average which I consider acceptable. There have been some challenging situations but Lyca has been trying to help. Even with some calls that are included in my package and werent working they have investigated and tried to fix and worked out most of the times.

I was informed on the 18th of November that I would get my refund for ordering . Now, 50 days later, still no refund. I was even called by lycamobile because of my honest review I left and informed about 3 weeks ago that they would look and make sure I get my refund, yet still nothing. How do they have a 3,8 on trustpilot?
Update after Lycamobile reply: That is incorrect. I made a purchase for an eSIM and never got the eSIM. After waiting for two days, no confirmation email or eSIM sent to me although the money was taken, i purchased a new eSIM. This time it worked and I started using that, but I was told for the first purchase I would get a refund, as I paid but never received the product. I have made this clear when initially contacting lycamobile about my refund.

I strongly warn against Lyca Mobile! Service in Switzerland keeps ignoring all complaints despite that they failed totally and STOLE my money:
I have bought a card with 50 GB internet plan during my travel to Switzerland. I clearly explained my needs to Lyca Mobile representative in the shop. He gave me a Lyca Mobile leaflet with promo activation, I had to buy a Lyca SIM card and initial top up. Then I was to use the leaflet to top up more via internet and later activate my package.
It did not work for 2 days, so I called Lyca support, talked over one hour and finally the representative told me they would refund my top up, as I had been mislead by sales representative. I was informed that the promo was available only for transfer from other operator, but it was mentioned in German on the leaflet so I was not able to understand, so I trusted Lyca representative.
I agreed to refund my funds and waited patiently.
After a week I asked again by email for the refund. So asked 10 times and they or answered with generic answer or finally stopped answering, did not refund money. So I was traveling through Switzerland without service, without internet and lost my money and couple of hours talking and mailing to Lyca support.
Never buy Lyca Mobile, as if you have any issues they will not help and they will steal your money!

I bought Lyca sim from Zurich and recharged for 1.5 franc for every day data . It worked on that day . Then I switched to 24 franc plan with unlimited internet for 30 days and3 gb data for roaming in Eu. it was ok on that day . then lyca started to stealing money from my assigned card.they took 1.5 franc for next three days for no reason. I tried to contact them through email but no reply. Tried to call them but call was not going through. It was a scam . Then I went to Italy there were no service available so the 3 gb data roaming I paid for not available . What a ripoff.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM, THEY ARE SCAMMERS! I ordered a sim card with a plan for internet and minutes. They say in the website it would arrive in 3 working days. After more than a week i asked for information by email: no reply. Then I called an operator (it took me 10 minutes to be able to find a path through the numbers to be able to actually talk to a person) but the answer was "i don't know, please send an email and wait"). Sent another email to another address: no reply. After two weeks I receive an email that the sim card could not be delivered because they couldn't find my address: although i compiled the c/o field in their website, they discarded it! Sent them the corrected address (for the third time). After 14 days a receive the sim! Great! I try to activate it, the website is very bad, but i manage. The day after it appears that the activation was canceled for no reason. It's impossible to contact them and receive any information. Horrible!
