I'd problem with the SIM. Support did not help.
What is the most important:
- it activates for the first time when you are already in Switzerland. It will no activate outside country!

I ordered an e-sim and a 28 day prepaid plan. I activated the e-sim and registrated (which is very difficult, you have to upload an app and scan your id and face) but got no confirmation of registration and so the prepaid plan did not start to work.
I tried to contact customer service through a chatbot but after waiting in line for a live agent for 1 hour I got them to answer twice in 10 minutes and then no more with the result that the chat discussion was ended ”due to inactivity”.
Then I called their customer service and their response was to ask me to call again in 24 hours so that their technical team could ”work on it”. In 24 hours I called and they had obvioysly not worked on my matter but asked me to send an email with the screen shot of an error code I got trying to re-register. No response to the e-mail. Then again 24 hours later I called and nothing had happened, the person asked me again to send the screen shot. So three days later I have not gotten the prepaid plan to work but have spent 50€ for the calls to the customer service. I asked if it’s possible to get a refund for these calls but they said no. So definitely do not recommend Lycamobile for anyone, worst idea ever to purchase their plan!

The live agents via that chat are unprofessional. They keep you waiting and then leave the chat and you have to restart the request again. Very time consuming and frustrating customer service.

Bunch of non responsible people. I ordered eSIM 1 week ago, I followed all the instructions and I have service but it’s same as I don’t have. I can not call, or send SMS, also no one can call me or send me SMS. It says to register the number and i did and still doesn’t work. I wrote 5 mails and they just copy paste some bot email without my solution. My last email was “please take 2 minutes and read good, don’t send me cop-paste emails” and no answer. I am trying to call more than 5-6 times, the line always busy. Save your time fellas, go direct in the post, take a number and you can save time and energy

I signed up for a SINGLE-month contract. This contract clearly states when it started and the date of termination. It took them around 2 weeks to show the billing of this contract, and they suddenly showed that they will be charging the month of service, plus a few days to reach the 1st of the next month, and on top of that, autorenewing the service for the next month (I did not sing up for autorenew).
Upon this happening, I dialed the autorenew cancellation number ( *190# ), which doesn't work. Then I contacted them via email, trying to solve this issue. They took over a week to cancel the auto-renew feature, but now they will be charging me an extra month because the cool-off period is out.
It is all scammy behavior. I could not cancel an auto-renew feature that I did not sign for, nor accepted, until two weeks had passed (when the billing came in). Then they take an extra week to cancel it, but charge you an extra month, because you did it "too late". I will stay away from this scammy company.

I ordered an esim on 16 may 2025, I got the confirmation . also the identity is verified and got the mobile no and password to login in my lycra account, but the mobile no sent to me is wrong, when I am entering it to login in my account it says invalid credentials

The absolute worst mobile company I have ever dealt with. I bought an esim through their website and payed with apple pay. Never received a confirmation email or the sim. Tried to contact through the help line, which took me half a day to get anyone on the phone and was then told that they no longer except apple pay and that I would be refunded. To this day, no refund has occurred. In my experience this company is a scam.

Really bad experience with the customer service. I purchased a plan and did not receive a QR code for 2 days. My first 3 days in Switzerland, I was roaming with no internet because they could not help me activate my esim. They don’t reply to the mail for like 24 hours no matter how urgent it is. My sim is still not activated and my money is just wasted.

Hands down the worst mobile phone provider I have ever experienced and I use e-sims regularly as I work internationally in constantly changing countries so I have experience with a lot of different providers! 2 Months without data or phone connection and customer services, while very polite and attempting to help, have been absolutely useless. Random strange amounts keep attempting to be charged to me, magic 5CHF charge figures here and there are asked for but questions about them never responded to or answered - very very weird and unprofessional operation. Feels more like one person in their bedroom rather than a national cell service. I'm sure it will get sorted but in the meantime I am 2 months out of pocket for a service I haven't received and they dont seem very keen on providing said service or refunding money... just taking it.

No contact, broken esim activation codes. Been waiting for 6 days for a QR code to show up, because they send me a non-existing one. They don't really give a damn about the customers. Stay away from Lyca CH, it is surely a badly managed trap that I got myself into.
