This trip was a Christmas present for my husband. What a huge success it was. From the minute we arrived at Victoria at 7.30 am to the minute we arrived back at 21.10 (bang on the advertised time) the whole day worked like clockwork with numerous well informed people there to answer questions and give directions as required. Burghley House itself was an absolute delight but the real pleasure was riding on the magnificent Pullman train. Our carriage, Ione, was so pretty and beautifully restored. The staff on board - particularly Will, Dillon and Arturo - could not have been more personable and helpful. As for the food - utterly delicious and plentiful. Add to that the extensive drinks menu and the, almost, constant flow of champagne and this really make for the perfect day out. My husband can’t stop telling everyone about it!!
The trip is expensive but there really was nothing to fault it.

Never one to give 5 star rating but anything less would be an injustice to the event . Every detail from the warm welcome to the arrival back in London was perfect.

What a fantastic experience! Highlighted by first class service and luxury all the way. This scenic trip takes your breath away taking in the beauty of the country side while you enjoy just relaxing and being treated with excellent food and beverage. Staff service is second to none, professional, knowledgeable and attentive to your needs.This trip has been a pleasure and a memorable experience for my wife and I and highly recommend the Pullman train trip to everyone. I booked the murder mystery tour for my husbands 40th and we loved every minute of the story telling and all the opportunities along the way. The staff and crew made him feel so special and acknowledged his birthday on a number of occasions throughout the journey.

If a touch of class if what you are looking for, this trip was full of class, laughter, delicious food and plenty of bubbles to toast a very special occasion.

Right from the start, with the chauffeur picking us up on time from our hotel taking us to the terminal, we were greeted by our names, and our luggage was whist away.
The check-in process was seamless, and then we boarded the train and guided to our room. We were greeted and looked after the entire trip. The excursions were very well planned and most enjoyable. Our excursions were to Langkawi Island and the cooking class over looking Penang.
The variety of the meals and service in the dining rooms was excellent.
We would highly recommend this Eastern & Oriental Express to anyone who wants to experience first, luxurious train travel.

Went to Edinburgh Christmas Market.
We enjoyed everything about the trip, good food, atmosphere., also the waitress who looked after us , were excellent. Enjoyed the bagpipes who pipped us out of York , magician, singers, were good .

From the moment we arrived on Platform 2 in Victoria we were greeted by delightful staff who immediately offered us mulled wine and mince pies, they were delicious, the attention of the staff throughout the whole experience was exceptional, with no complaints. the food throughout the day was superb, the generous offerings of the different drinks was beyond expectations, making the whole experience fabulous, we enjoyed every minute.

This was an absolutely amazing experience, from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was great, the train certainly had the wow factor….we have made some wonderful new memories. Will be booking again for next year!

I booked a luxury train journey around Kent, our old stomping ground, which included a wonderful and very generous Christmas lunch, in order to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
Service was exceptional and the 1940’s era trio of singers were the star on top of the tree. Outstanding.
Oh and did I mention the VC champagne? It never ran out.

it was wonderful trip. we are still talking about the experience. Staff was very friendly food was very good and hot. My husband was accommodated very well with his disability and helped during the journey even his oxygen concentarater was charged during the journey

My husband, daughter and I just recently returned from our Orient Express trip from Paris to Venice. The trip exceeded our expectations. We booked our trip through Luxurytraintickets.com. They were responsive to any questions, concerns and details about the train. The communication and coordination of the transport in Paris before the trip to the train station and then from the train station to our hotel in Venice was seamless. Our luggage was waiting for us in our hotel room in Venice so that our luxury experience continued even after we arrived in Venice.

Gift was purchased for my mother and father. They had a magical time - my mother’s ‘orient express’ dream came true through a timeless classic belmond train. 🚂 I couldn’t have been happier for them. A perfect way to celebrate their 30th anniversary married together.

The excellent follow up by Lucy Mullins. She provided all options and solutions. When there was an issue with our pickup at CDG - she stepped in and made it right. Driver was there early - so we did not have to stress about being picked up and making it there on time. The journey itself was fabulous - they certainly lived up to our expectations. I want to thank Lucy for all of her assistance during this journey, it couldn't have gone better. Thank you again for making this a once-in-a lifetime experience

This was simply amazing !!!

I brought the trip for my wife’s birthday and she absolutely loved it, every wish was catered for even down to bottles of water on the coach transfer.

Booking was so simple with luxury train tickets, from start to finish everything was explained and easy payment instalment's if you need it, the staff were amazing from the initial phone call all the way to the day itself.

Our wonderful Pullman experience was our first. We felt very spoilt by the friendly and excellent staff from start to finish they made our day just perfect.
After a fabulous gin based cocktail in the arrival lounge we headed for our designated carriage to be welcomed by with a glass of vintage Champagne.
A four course delicious Sunday Lunch was served while our luxurious train carriage made its way though the lush countryside.
This was a roast beef five star lunch to remember,

I made a booking recently with Lucy for 9 passengers on the British Pullman to Oxford. One of the passenger had some worries about the food on board as they had certain dietary needs. Lucy was brilliant as I was emailing back and forth and reassured us all needs would be catered for. All passengers had the best time and said how they were looked after impeccably, nothing was too much. The food was amazing and the service 5*
