Do NOT order from Curlsmith.ca Products are OK. But customer service is HORRIBLE. They changed my address to an old one without telling me, and when I asked them to cancel a shipment they refused to do so (despite it not being shipped yet).
Also misleading offers on the website, with difficult to access T&C.

I have been using the brand for about a year, and at the same time I started a carnivore diet. My hair started coming out in the shower more than usual. I thought it was my body making adjustments from the changes. After reading reviews and paying closer attention to the ingredients, I now realize it's love ur curls products. I even had the gel. All of it is in the trash! If you value your hair, never buy this product!

Well to start I was super excited to try product bought litres of 3 step. Super strongly fragranced and irritates the scalp. I emailed the company they advised try fragrance free instead which I did.used product for about 3 weeks, and looked in mirror one day at my roots and have bald patches,my once beautiful curls are thin and limp, hair has thinned tremendously
I have contacted customer service 9 days ago now, and no refund.anyone looking to join a class action lawsuit please leave your name and email here.i am extremely upset.if they don't do the bare minimum of a refund I will be proceeding with legal action.why do these companies make a product that claims to be good for your hair when it's garbage. blown away
This product coats your hair so it feels good first few uses.after a while if you use another shampoo and conditioner that takes that coating off your underneath is left a dehydrated under nourished mess
If you value having hair do not buy.im serious you will regret it weeks/months down the road.amd the styler sucks to top it off.it is going to take me months to try and nourish my long curly hair back to health.oh and after I researched ingredients there are formaldehyde triggering ingredients.ansolutely in awe of lack of care and concern this company has with you and your hair health

They are illegally retaining my data after I submitted a data deletion request. I have a right to my data and they said having an order history means they cannot delete it.

It’s strange because I deleted my shoppers account and they had an order history.

These guys operate outside the law and clearly make money on our meta data.

You want the review removed? It’s simple. Comply with data laws and don’t tell us you aren’t subject to them.

First of all be aware that this company hids how to cancel the subscription part so you can’t cancel and it’s been MONTHS and I can’t get a refund for a product that was opened and spilling over. It was the big bottles, the box was moist and warping because of the leakage. I opened a claim with my bank then was told by the reps at LUS that I had to close it in order to get a refund, I sent them the letter I received as proof and they keep saying that it’s still open! I don’t know what kind of shady business these ppl are running but be warned these ppl don’t give refunds! Never buying again!!

The products are absolutely amazing. They really go the distance to with their how to videos and amazing customer service. I’ve been given free products because I ordered the wrong one in error. Well worth the money. I’m hooked now.

Did not work. Absolutely no difference between their products and a $10 curl defining mousse. If you want to return it, you have to send it to Canada (it was shipped from Ohio) which costs more than the actual refund. Total waste of almost $60.

As soon as I tried it - and I watched a video because everyone says that the product doesn't work properly if you don't follow application instructions - I could tell it was Shiite.
I have 3B hair and it felt immediately dry, became entirely matted, etc.
I know my hair and regularly have to brush conditioner through it, which I leave in and can't wash out in order to have my curls behave.
Waste of money imho.
I bought the 3 step and I will be throwing it in the garbage. What a terrible product that doesn't even remotely come close to what the PR says.
I bought the kinky/coily type and I can't care less about anything other than the fact that you will know a good conditioner when brushing your hair out in the shower.
Again, my hair was matted, dry af, and took 3 times as long to brush out, and several days to get back to normal, along with a ton of hair loss, after just one use!
Literally going in the garbage.
Please, don't waste your money.

I have been using only this 3 system product for 3 months now. 2 months ago my hair started falling out everytime I took a shower and brushed out my hair. I have very thick hair but not anymore. My hair has been comming out by the handfuls for 2 months now and I just

want to cry. It just dawned on me that it is from these products. I only used lus brand for the past 3 months. My beautiful
hair is not beautiful anymore. It's thin and stringy. I am so upset. I have spent so much money on these hair products just to lose a ton of hair. I am warning you all DO NOT BUY FROM THIS
COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK YOUR HAIR FALLING OUT BY THE
HANDFULS. I wish I had never bought
this. It will take 2 years for my hair to
come back according to my hair stylist
and that's after it stops falling out.

Massive hair loss. Used the product for several months and started noticing some hair falling out. Then all of a sudden handfuls of hair began falling out. Three weeks later I had filled a gallon size zip lock bag with my hair. Stopped using the products and now after 8 months my hair is just starting to show signs of regrowth.

I had seen online about this brand and I thought ( along with my mom) that it would be a great idea. I had always had a hard time defining my curls. I worked nicely but then after the second time I started loosing a lot of hair I mean a lot. I always comb my hair out in the shower but now I am loosing 4 times the amount and in the morning and throughout the day I am loosing so much. Like I always kept my hair up because of that. Going to throw it out. Hopefully the hair loss will stop. Do not recommend this product.

Well now I know why they don’t send their product to Australia
I have been trying to order more but they say they are not sending their products to Australia at the moment (I think they said freight issues)
I only found this site when I tried to see if there was anyone else may have been selling it and the reviews came up
I have been using LUS shampoo and hair all in one (not the conditioner) for years now and have had no problems until the last 6 or so months when I noticed that I was losing quite a lot of hair when I was in the shower.
I don’t use the amount of product they recommend it’s way to much for my hair so maybe that’s why it has taken a long time for the hair loss to show up
So now I will need to find another brand that uses quality ingredients

It’s a terrible product, please don’t take the risk to buy it. I bought it as a present for my 14 years old daughter and now I feel terrible. She has always complained about her hair and how she can’t fix it properly. I had the terrible idea of getting LUS for her as a surprise present and the experience has been terrible. Not only the product didn't show a significant improvement on her curls but on the other hand she is loosing so much hair. She was crying a few night ago because she cannot brunch her hair without tons of her hair coming out. This brand should not be selling a product that puts women at risk of going through this situation. Please don’t take the risk.

I have been using all the LUS hair products (with the exception of the hair oil) and initially I loved them with my 2a/2b waves. However after a couple of months, I started noticing serious hair fall. Even my hairdresser that I have been going to for 15 years noticed and commented. I did some research on the ingredients and although LUS claims they only use healthy ingredients, I found this is not true. The products all scored in the ‘Poor’ ingredient category with the exception of the hair oil which scored in the ‘Excellent” category. Unfortunately I ordered additional products during a 20% sale and cannot return them ( even though they have not been opened or used) because it has been more than 30 days. I don’t feel good about even donating the unused product and will not be using it any more.

I am losing handfuls of hair since starting LUS Love Ur Curls

I purchased the five product pack early in the year. The first time I used it, it was good. Every time after that was horrible. I stopped for a while and thought I would give it another try later, just to give the product a good chance. It leaves a film in your hair and my hair started breaking off. I’ve stopped using this product completely.

I had been using this product for 10 wks and yes, I have had some curl/waves but mostly frizziness. The biggest issue I have had is unbelievable hair shedding!!! Handfuls and I mean HANDFULS of hair EVERY SINGLE DAY….
I have noticed a few other posts experiencing the same results, I will no longer be using.

After using the luv ur curls mouse it caused my hair to get so tangled up and I tried for 3 weeks to get it out but couldn’t so I had to cut it out

Decided to try the curly hair system, and it dried my hair out so badly that I was getting breakage that I've never had before. Went to get my hair cut and they were shocked how dried out and frizzy my curls were. Took several shampoos and a deep conditioner to restore some moisture.

I bought Love UR Curls All in one WAVY Step 3. I used it about 6 times and it made my hair too conditioned, oily, heavy and flat. My scalp became irritated from all the bad chemicals I've now learned about. It got to the point it was hard to shampoo it out. I'm experiencing some hair loss. I do not recommend LUS products based on my bad experience.
