ZERO COMMUNICATION
I have favored Lupine dog collars and leashes of various styles for decades having had up to (9) "rescue" dogs. I may have returned up to (2) dog leashes over that period of time for replacement due to either a faulty metal snap that failed prematurely, or a specific defect in the leash itself. Recently, I decided to U.S.P.S. Priority Mail back to Lupine's P.O.Box (1) 1" x 6' Basic Red Dog Leash for inspection due to unusual nylon fraying on the edges. After approximately (2) weeks, I decided to e-mail Lupine concerning the dog leash I had mailed to them. I have received zero communication up to this date. No simple e-mail and/or telephone response from Lupine, nor have I received a replacement dog leash as per their "lifetime" guarantee. I am through with Lupine. I ended up replacing that single ply nylon "light-duty" red dog leash with a far superior two-ply dog leash manufactured by Coastal, and I haven't looked back since. I still say overall that Lupine does make some nice products, but their total lack of communication especially to a loyal repeat customer with a legitimate quality control "issue" is disconcerting, as well as disappointing. Lupine should understand that there are other numerous manufacturers of pet products that actually equal, or in some instances surpass theirs. I found that Coastal is one of them. My message now to Lupine is to keep the defective dog leash since it has already been replaced with a much better quality one from one of their competitors.
