I would give negative stars if I could for Lume Whole Body Deodorant for Pits, Privates, and Beyond in Lavender Sage. I trusted the labeling that it was safe for privates and sprayed a spritz on my underwear about 9 am. By 6:30 pm I was desperate with a full-blown Urinary Tract Infection increasing in pressure and pain throughout my area down there. Inside and out even though this product was only a spritz on the underwear. I couldn't sleep through the weekend until I could get meds. I was writhing with back (kidney area) pain Sunday night. Having to go all day and all night, with pain, pressure, and irritation in my rear end all weekend was like visiting what hell must be like. I wrote them about it, and they apologized but after my repeatedly emphasizing their need to change their labeling because it is obvious this is NOT safe for privates, they essentially blew me off. They said it was "safe" because of all "the research behind this product by professionals." I said that I may be on the perimeter of the bell curve in their studies, but even as a minority of reaction to this product, it shouldn't be labeled "safe." Do NOT use this product if you do not want a UTI or irritation in your privates. Horrible. This started Friday night 1/23/26, and here I am Thursday 1/29/26 still down with burning, and unwell because of the meds I am having to take because of this product. I just thank goodness I am retired so I don't have to deal with the stress about missing work. There is NO way I would have been able to work had this happened then. I haven't been able to sit up very long yet even today.

My wife bought me the unscented cream for men. This stuff has a Pog smell to it. I feel like throwing it in the trash. Then she brought me the sport spray. Talk about overkill on the sent OMG. I will never buy there products ever again.

It works for 24 hours, only when you just get out of the shower. It's doesn't smell good so I buy unscented. It's a waste of money now. Having to use it every day, I may as well use my regular deodorant because it's much cheaper and at least it's predictable, unlike Lume.

I love Lume deodorant so much! I’ve been using it since 2019 very consistently. I don’t expect any deodorant to last 72 hours because I’m a clean person that showers daily. It’s lasted 48 hours for me as a person who sweats a lot. Like I said I SHOWER! It’s great!

Lasts days. Unfortunately you will develope an odd smell that lasts for weeks. I tried it a few different times. Funny thing is that my lotion type deodorant was stolen and the person who lifted it offered her opinion that it made her smell. I thought, good! Nope is not good for me.

Nice fragrance, but no odor protection whatsoever! Decided to try Lume deo to see if it would help with my underarm odor. Been using it, says odor protection up to 72 hrs., which is a lie. I had underarm odor the following next day. Will not buy this product again as is it costly!

I liked the product, but it is very expensive. Deal breaker for me is customer service, and Lume's was terrible in my experience. I ordered a spray and was unable to get the canister to spray any product. Turned out you must remove a small plastic piece (which was not explained) to allow spray. Took several days for a response. Not ordering again.

I have always had an embarrassing foot odor problem. I tried the fragrance ones but settled on the unscented. No worries taking off my shoes around people. I'm not hiding my shoes and socks anymore. I am a customer for life!!!

I thought the deoderant was wonderful for the first few days. It controlled odor beautifully and smelled alright. That joy quickly turned to horror when, after a few days, my underarm broke out in a painful rash. The pain was so bad I thought I might have to go to the doctor. It was red and irritated in what appears to be chemical burns related to the deoderant. Whatever you do, don't use this product! I looked it up and found it wasn't just me but many others who experienced this.

I bought this for my underarms and it does not work AND is causing huge dry patches of skin. This deodorant is toxic to me. I asked for a refund and their AI said no since I didn't purchase it directly from them. (What an insult. They didn't even have a real person reading the complaint). It's not like anyone is discounting this stuff. So, mine is in the garbage and I've gone back to my old deodorant. Don't believe their advertising. No wonder there is a class action suit against them.

It does not work. If you have strong odor you may notice the fragrance mixed with your sweat. It also causes worst odor if that's possible when it is gone. All products are the same weak but fragment level. I guess allergies may make you want this, avoid it if you have natural hair unwaxed or shaved.

I used this product on my private area,and it caused a burning rash,that I've had for 2weeks now.

Awful deodorant. I bought the 72 hr tangerine scent. Did not work even for a couple of hours. Then I had a sour smell. I tried it several times and very expensive for a deodorant that claims to work for 72 hours and you can’t depend on it for even 3 hours. If I could check no stars for a review I would

I bought the whole body deodorant tangerine it works great the smell is a little moldy smelling not pleasant. I have probably over half of product still in can and it will no longer spray they have same spray top as secret and I can tell you the secret is it is a bad design same thing happens when I buy secret Deo. They should have top like Dove. They need live person to speak with for older people that do not email or text. Even though smell was not pleasant and you almost did not want to use, I did and it is a fantastic product.

I have used Lume cream for some time now. It absolutely eliminates "old lady" odor. I am 65. There have been no adverse effects at all. While I don't love the scented types, the unscented or powder scent are great with little to no fragrance.
I have recently tried the Lume cleansing bar and couldn't be happier. The first time, I thought that I felt clean in a new way, just an overall feeling of clean. After some weeks of use, I note that my skin is absolutely smoother. No little "irregularities" on my arms or legs, just smooth skin. The application of moisturizing lotion after shower enhances that feeling, where in the past, moisturizers helped, but just sort of glided over those teeny bumps and patches that I had before using the Lume bar.

I am a soap lover; I have many soaps that I collect for either ingredients, size or fragrance. Even though Lume is expensive, I will continue to use it in the shower and have relegated my soap collection to the sinks in my bathrooms where I continue to enjoy them. Although there are copy cat brands, I will continue with Lume because the creator was the first to recognize the need and find a solution.

This is a good deodorant but when it gets towards the bottom (still lots to use) it falls apart and goes all over. At this price, I will definitely not purchase again. ($17.99 Canada). Will stick to Secret for less than $5.00, no white marks and just as effective.

I love lume deodorant bar, so I decided to try the spray.
Unfortunately after using it only 4 times it started leaking all over the can and wouldn't spray any longer.
Paying almost $14 I won't buy the spray again

I’ve used aluminum free deodorant since I had breast cancer in 2009 so I didn’t need to detox. I used a brand of gel stick deodorant that was recommended to me by the radiation oncologist. I continued to use it until a few months ago when the gel stick version became hard to find, so I had to switch to another brand. Wanting to continue with aluminum free,I tried a different brand but it left a powdery residue on my clothes that I didn’t like. I purchased a starter pack from Lume. Later I placed a second order for a couple more items I wanted to try. Loved the scents and it did not leave a residue. I’ve been using the cream and stick deodorants and noticed they both fail on me after about 6-8 hours. And I have to reapply. The spray has a horrible propellant that makes me cough, and it also hasn’t lasted more than a few hours. I don’t know why they advertise the 72 hours so prominently on the packaging. I gave several of the Lume products a very good chance over at least 2 months and have given an honest review based on my own experience. Bottom line is this is the first deodorant I have ever had to apply twice every 24 hours.

This is the worst product ever. Do not buy this product at all. It say for sensitive sink, that's a lie. My armpits turned a fiery red and burning very painful. I had to hand wash my arm pits with soapy warm water and try to put on lotion to sooth it. Then under my breast it looked a long huge paper cut the hurt so bad I couldn't put on my bra. Then in my bikini area it was awful. Swollen red and very painful. Thus product messed with my sweat glands real bad. Get this product off the market before the lawsuits start.
