Lucid Trading is a funded firm that helps futures traders practice their strategies, improve risk management, and build capital as they prepare to trade in live markets. The team at Lucid Trading feels that there is an opportunity to merge elements from the new funded firms and old-school proprietary trading desks. Funded firms are an excellent starting point for aspiring traders. However, once they have proven they are ready for live markets, they need to be supported more in the way a traditional prop desk. Lucid Trading’s goal is to provide a clear path forward through all these phases.

MAJOR WARNING
MAJOR WARNING – BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL
My experience with Lucid has completely destroyed my trust in this company.
Withdrawals suddenly get stuck, and accounts can be blocked without a clear explanation or a fair opportunity to respond.
When a company is holding traders’ money, this lack of transparency is a massive red flag.
If you block a trader or stop a withdrawal, explain exactly why, show the evidence, and give the customer a chance to respond.
For me, these are serious scam warning signs. I strongly recommend traders be extremely careful before trusting Lucid with their money.
SERIOUS WARNING TO TRADERS
SERIOUS WARNING TO TRADERS
After hearing from a well-known trader online about payout rejections and accounts being banned without traders being given a meaningful opportunity to respond, I decided I wasn’t willing to take the risk.
I closed my accounts and moved to another prop firm.
The number of negative experiences being shared here only reinforced my decision.
When your money is involved, trust and transparency are everything.
My advice: be extremely cautious before putting your money into Lucid.
150K's not competitive
Been trading prop firms for over a year. Received around 50 payouts across all firms - all 50K's. Your 50k pricing is in line with all the other big firms with the same rules. Now moving to all 150k accounts. Why are those prices not in line with same firms as they were with the 50k's? Funded Elite $180, Blue Guardian $205, TopStep $215, Tradeify (40% in Eval) $185, Funded Seat (35% in Eval) $220. These are ALL better options and those dollars make a difference when Im buying 100+ evals a month. Your comparable eval is way up at $250. I'll be leaving Lucid behind until you fix your pricing.
Best prop firm
The Best propfirm on Futures space

Extremely concerning experience with…
Extremely concerning experience with Lucid Trading
I am an Israeli trader and my account was permanently banned within minutes under the accusation of “cross-user coordinated trading.”
Let me be absolutely clear:
Nobody has ever traded on my account except me. Nobody has ever placed, managed, or closed a trade on my behalf.
Before this happened, I raised concerns with Lucid after hearing about cases where traders had profits denied based on alleged violations, while feeling they had little opportunity to properly challenge or respond to those allegations.
Not long after raising those concerns, I found myself banned as well.
My interaction with a customer service representative named Ali felt extremely rushed and dismissive, and within minutes my account was blocked.
I was given a serious accusation, but where is the evidence?
Which trades were coordinated?
What dates and times?
Which activity proves somebody else traded my account?
Which exact rule did I violate?
If Lucid has evidence, I want to see it.
Instead, my account was permanently banned and the decision was presented as final.
I cannot prove why my case was handled this way, and I will not make accusations about anyone’s motives. But as an Israeli customer, the way this was handled left me extremely uncomfortable and concerned about whether my case received a fair and genuine review.
I am sharing my experience so other traders can make their own decision before putting their money and trust into this company.
I strongly recommend exercising extreme caution before trading with Lucid.
A prop firm should be able to substantiate serious accusations against its traders — especially when those accusations are being used to permanently terminate an account.
Denied My Payout After 6 Previous Successful Payments — KYC Completed, Accounts Closed, and Formal Appeal Ignored
Extremely disappointing experience with Lucid Trading
I had already received 6 successful payouts from other Lucid Trading accounts. This previous experience gave me confidence in the company and made me believe that Lucid Trading was reliable. However, this particular LucidFlex 50K account was making its first payout request.
The account had fulfilled all the requirements: 5 profitable days, a balance of US$54,714, and US$4,714 in profit. However, the payout button was not available in the dashboard, so I contacted support to ask for assistance.
After contacting support, Lucid Trading blocked my dashboard and requested that I complete a KYC verification. I completed the verification through Plaid and sent the requested screenshot. Lucid then informed me that the KYC had been completed, but that an additional review could take up to 24 hours.
After this review, my account—and subsequently all associated Lucid Trading accounts—were permanently closed. The reason given was “coordinated trading activity between users” and violation of the company’s anti-fraud policies.
I strongly disagree with this decision. I did not hedge, manipulate the platform, commit fraud, or engage in any prohibited activity. Despite this, Lucid Trading did not provide concrete evidence supporting the accusation, such as the accounts allegedly involved, specific trades, dates, times, assets, directions, or quantities.
I also submitted a formal contestation to Lucid Trading, requesting a review of the decision and detailed clarification regarding the alleged violation. As of the date of this review, I have not received any response or clarification from the company.
The entire experience has been extremely disappointing, especially considering that I had already received 6 payouts from Lucid Trading accounts. A company should provide transparency, evidence, and an opportunity for a proper review before permanently closing accounts and revoking access to its services.
The screenshots attached document the dashboard information, support conversations, KYC verification, and account closure. The support conversations are in Portuguese because I live in Brazil and received support in my native language; they can be translated if necessary.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Lucid Trading.
Ps. I have all the evidence and screenshots available and can provide them to Trustpilot upon request. Unfortunately, I was unable to upload the images directly here. Where can I send the screenshots and supporting evidence for verification?
I’m leaving this review because I…
I’m leaving this review because I personally know the people involved and have followed the situation closely.
My friend’s wife had her Lucid account blocked after reaching a significant payout. The explanation was that they were allegedly trading together simply because they are married and live in the same household.
They provided proof that they live together as a married couple, and as far as I understand, Lucid’s own rules allow separate trading by people within the same household.
What concerns me even more is that other traders who have spoken up and complained about this situation are now facing restrictions as well.
I have no personal issue with Lucid, but when successful traders start having problems specifically around large payouts, and people who question those decisions are also restricted, it raises serious concerns.
As a trader, I expect clear rules, consistency and transparency. Unfortunately, what I’ve seen here has left me with very little confidence in Lucid.

⭐️scam alert

The problem isn’t whether a trader has a good or bad trading day.
The real test is what happens when it is time to pay the trader.
In our case, my wife’s account was blocked after a significant payout, with Lucid claiming that we were trading together. We are simply a couple living in the same household, and their rules are supposed to allow separate trading within the same household.
On top of that, traders who complain about these decisions are reportedly being blocked as well.
A prop firm should be judged by how it handles successful traders and legitimate payouts not just how easily it accepts new customers.

I am leaving this review because Lucid’s recent handling of account closures and payouts has raised serious concerns for me.
My wife’s account was blocked after a significant payout, with the explanation that we were trading together. We are a married couple who live in the same household, and our understanding of Lucid’s rules is that separate accounts within the same household are permitted.
What is particularly concerning is hearing from other traders who say they were also restricted after raising complaints about the situation.
I expect a prop firm to have clear, consistent and transparent rules, especially when it comes to payouts.
Lucid Blocking Strokes
⭐️
I am part of a trading community, and what I have seen recently with Lucid is extremely concerning.
People who reach significant payouts from funded accounts are facing account closures and accusations of trading together.
In one case, it involved a married couple living in the same household, even though their policy allows separate trading within the same household.
Even more concerning, traders who speak up and complain about these decisions are reportedly being blocked.
This is not the kind of transparency I expect from a prop firm.
I cannot recommend Lucid based on what…
I cannot recommend Lucid based on what I have witnessed.
After a significant payout, my wife’s account was blocked over an accusation that we were trading together, simply because we are a couple living in the same household.
Their own rules allow traders from the same household to trade separately.
Now traders who complain about the situation are also facing account restrictions.
Very disappointing.

I know some had bad reviews about them not paying out, however I have always been paid within one day. Follow the rules and stick to your plan hit your goals and the money will come.
