Horrendous

I have never dealt with a company so unhelpful
I booked a holiday with a deposit and then a friend offered me her apartment so went to cancel this and it says to speak to the airline first and make changes, which I did. Then come to cancel this hotel and was told £275 cancellation fee even though it was less than 48 hours since I booked. They said someone would call me back ( after being on message service for over an hour) no one has called me back, sent me an update or anything.
No help what so ever - she just said we can give you longer to pay them the cancellation fee …. Disgusting service !!

Once a booking has been made there are certain parts of it which are non-refundable - such as flights or transfers. If a booking is cancelled there will be cancellation costs incurred which we’ll detail for you, along with a £75/€75 per booking or £25/€25 for hotel-only bookings, which covers the cost of us processing the cancellation.

Unfortunately the cancellation fees cannot be discounted.

Love Holidays

Easy searching and booking process, ive booked loads of holidays over the years and all have been good experiences. Some great packages and prices for every budget and to top it all low deposits and monthly payments.

Grand Cetia - Turkey

There was the good, the bad and the ugly. Let me start by stating, organising and booking the trip with Love Holidays was successful and absolutely stress free, including airport transfers to and from the Grand Cetia hotel. It was a good price for the time of year also.

Unfortunately, the country was experiencing some cold and damp weather when we arrived and it seems that the hotel is not set up for chllly weather as the heating was down in room 305 and they had no spare blankets, which made sleeping a little difficult in a cold room.

After a few nights, waiting for the heating to be fixed, we requested a different room for the last two nights. The front desk quickly resolved this by moving us to another room, 525. Oh my God was it disgusting or was it disgusting? It stank of cigarette smoke, as if someone had chained smoked their way through a year's worth of cigarettes, it was absolutely stifling. The heating worked though and this made the smell even worse. The air conditioning was absolutely filthy and there did not appear to be any room service for this room, beds were not made nor was the room tidied or cleaned. Seems like it is the forgotten room in the hotel.

This is in stark contrast to the cold room, 305 where the maid was absolutely excellent, and left us little pressies by folding the towels into animals. The room was cleaned daily and was always pleasant to return to. It was a pity that it was just so damned cold. It also had excellent views overlooking the pools.

I would not recommend booking the 'shopping' trip with LoveHolidays. Its a bit of a scam, where the driver takes you to their 'mates' shopping centre rather than into town. This limits your experience and they try to force you to buy 'fake' goods for a price. The first stop of this shopping trip was to a very large jewellery store for which you would need 10 mortgages to pay for any goods. The pressure to buy could be quite intimidating for some people.

It would be good if Love Holidays provided you with all of the information required for trips. We wanted the mud bath experience. We were taken, after travelling for hours' to a small hole in the ground as opposed to the 'proper' facilities. It as supposed to include lunch. This consisted of an extremely dry burger, no sauces and 6, yes 6 chips!!! By the time we got everyone through the hole in the ground the rest of the trip was rushed and uneventful. If travelling with small children, the distance and coach journey may be a little too much, particularly as along the way, again you had to stop at the mates shops to be forced to buy something, Totally unnecessary.

After my rant above, the facilities in the hotel are good, especially the spa. The Turkish bath is to die for and the staff are engaging, well trained and its worth every penny you pay.

The food and drinks were good, flavoursome and hardy - lots of choice and different meals everyday.

Now let me tell you about Kann and Ceran at the front desk. Nothing was too much for them. They go above and beyond to ensure you stay is enjoyable (unfortunately they could not move our room 525 to another as the hotel was full but were extremely apologetic). Ali, Tyfoon, Nisanur, Sedat, Erhan and Marta are also extremely personable and helpful. They all went out of their way to ensure we had a good time, fantastic directions to get around and as we were celebrating a surprise 16th birthday ensured everything went to plan. I can't thank Kaan and Ceran enough.

Would I book the hotel again, not likely but next time I'm in Turkey, will definitely pay it a visit to catch up with those named above.

Simple, easy booking

Booked a long weekend away to Spain in May. Booking was really simple and easy. The holiday was amazing the hotel was exactly as described and the price was fab. Would definitely use love holidays again

First class

After reaching the end of my booking I had to confirm with the airline before completing. I was unable to do this due to technical issues. The payment was pending from my bank. I called Love Holidays and the guy couldn't have been any more helpful. He ensured that the payment I had made was cancelled (he kept me on the line)and rebooked my holiday. Thank you

First time booking with love holidays…

First time booking with love holidays usually book with jet 2 but this year the holiday options for Porto were not good. Drawn to the recent reviews about good customer service for love holidays. Also the guarantee for no increased fuel surcharge. So far excellent communication and smooth booking process. Let's hope it continue
