I have learned a lot so far from Lotterycodex. Currently, not a very active lottery participant but I can see that I have been playing it wrong for a number of years. The information is worth the price alone.

The calculator tool and the methodology is very useful. still, you need to spend time to build the winning numbers...
however, I do recommend reading the guide and using the calculator - time will tell if I will see some win

First of all, I appreciate the honesty of the author. A lot of people claim to have a magic recipe for winning the lottery. However, this is not the case for Lotterycodex. The website is full of useful information, especially for someone like me who's been occasionally playing the lottery for fun for less than a year. I purchased the 5/49 calculator and it works as described. I picked a few numbers and I started working on the spreadsheet generated by the calculator. I think it's a good tool that helps to pick numbers. I definitely recommend it. Although, before purchasing it, it's important to understand what you are paying for. This isn't going to make you win the lottery right away. It may or may not happen but you need to understand that it's just a tool that helps you pick numbers with the highest probability. After purchase, there's additional work to do, i.e to have a strategy and implement it.
I have a couple of suggestions. Firstly, in each calculator, it would be nice to include the minimum number of combinations (or tickets) to play in order to win at least one prize. This would be helpful when building a game plan. Secondly, in the number wheeling, why not have the option of selecting more than 34 numbers for the 5/49, especially if the goal is to select as many numbers as we can?
Rating is 5 stars because it's as advertised and I find it useful for beginners, occasional and regular players.

The Lottery codex is a useful tool. It provides a more realistic and honest approach to calculating the best lottery combination unlike other systems it relys on good mathematics and not false promises from an expensive lottery winning software.

I have seen other sites and products but I was not confident in their approach nor in what they promised. The information you provide is base in fact and does not make misleading promises. The calculators are but one tool, among many, that the user has at his/her disposal. I like having a mathematically proven methodology at my disposal. It is now up to me to control the other variables and to develop a long term approach to winning the lottery. I also believe that $50 CDN for the calculator is reasonable. Thanks Edvin!

Great job in putting all this together. I cannot imagine how many hours of brute hard work and critical analysis you did to come up with these findings. I share in most of your leanings and while I agree that the lottery is entertainment and not an easy game to win, I also believe that one can make some decent returns if one is wise in the playings. That was the driving force that pushed me to go online to find out what possibly exists out there. Is the lottery an absolute random game or is there some plan behind it. Your answers are beyond satisfactory to me. I have employed combinatorics myself, in some of my number selections but have not been lucky a great deal with free wheeling those initial number selections. I believe that your calculator concept will help me fine tune my selections.
I also want to add that every number combination has only a single chance of coming up as a winning set of numbers. But of course, there seems to be some more popular odd/even, low/high number combinations than others and those other less popular ones will have their turn, they are a just a long shot. I could go on and on but I want to leave it here for now. I'm not particularly crazy about Mega Millions and Power Ball, I'm interested in winning so I am very content with playing Colorado 6+ and Cash 5. I do not employ the 3Ps though I know they are critical. I'm not a persistent player because I'm watching the budget all the time.

I have been playing the lottery for 50 years. I purchased all kind of software that was a waste of money including books on how to win the lottery. And one other thing worth mentioning is his customer support if you get stuck on something is truly outstanding.He will get back to your questions right away. But I doub't you will have many questions because the program comes with detailed instructions.

Easy to understand and will definitely use this system

The Lotterycodex is an essential tool to make the lottery game fun. Otherwise, it's really just a shot in the dark. The tool implements, exactly, the explained science behind understanding the game and increasing one's position to win.

It's hard to see myself playing a game without it now!

The explanation is there, the math and different scenarios are given. All in all I somewhat get the idea coming from a non math enthusiast.

Is there a faq page for using the csv files or a more detailed instruction? Like what does each column represent.

I gave Lotterycodex 4 stars as I've only had the program for two days and haven't had the chance to explore it to its fullest potential. I found the mathematical literature quite interesting. Looking at the lottery in a mathematical way has taken me into different directions when selecting and playing my 6/45 Saturday lotto game.

It's a simple program up front but I'm sure the maths behind it is quite complex. It doesn't come with bells and whistles and a bunch of statistics to overcloud the end product, but that doesn't mean it wont work. It does what's described in the documentation, and it wont pick your magical numbers, you have to do that.

I like the way it downloads the results into an excel spreadsheet. When I've had the chance to delve deeper into the program I will do another review. Whether good or bad, I chose to buy the program, now it's up to me to understand how it works and how best I can use it.

One word of advice, read everything thoroughly, and before questioning the program. I'm sure I will be emailing Edvin with questions and asking for helpful tips on how to use the calculator.
