Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Excellent service
Excellent service, very easy order and pick up from collection locker with concise instructions. Red velvet cake was delicious and very moist, probably the best cake we’ve ever had.

The cutest cupcakes I’ve seen.
Absolutely brilliant. I was unable to collect my cakes on the specified date. But that was not a problem because I phoned up and the lovely lady helped me out and opened the locker for me. Excellence service.

So disappointed with the Lola's cake I ordered. It is so small. The cake is 5 inches wide and 2 inches high. Its the size of those small box cakes you buy at tesco or coop for £3.75. I paid £33, the 8 slices are tiny, I feel utterly ripped off! If the cake was at least a couple of inches higher, we would have had 9 or 10 bites of cake per slice instead of 5 bites. Our experience works out to 70p a bite. The cake was nice, but it wasn't amazing. My friend ordered the Eton mess cake a few years ago, and it was delicious, but standards have clearly slipped. It wasn't as good as before and I'm sure the cake was taller before but they probably cut a sponge to bolster their bottom line. I'm so disappointed, I will not buy from Lola again. When you look at the size guide for the small cake it confirms 7 inches... but the small print confirms that is the cake board size. Had I known the cake would be 5 inches wide and 2 inches tall for the price, I wouldn't have ordered it. M&S does a lovely raspberry ripple vanilla sponge for £19 and its twice the size of this one... I should have bought that.

We do state online that our small size cakes are 14 cm in diameter, this is equivalent to about 5.5 inches, enough for up to 8 standard dessert size servings.
We apologise that the information further below the width and height in the serving guide to show the cake board was mistaken for the size of the cake itself and will review the serving guide to ensure this is as clear as possible what each point of information within refers to.
At all levels our teams work very hard to make delicious and beautiful hand-crafted cakes using high-quality and fresh ingredients for the best possible experience.
We are grateful for your feedback on the experience you had with this cake and are sorry that the size and taste did not live up to our expectations given the price of this cake.

Fantastic
I came across Lola’s online and I’m glad I did because it saved me last minute. I was going to bake my sons birthday cake and something came up so I didn’t have time to do it and Lola’s was the only one that had flexible dates that I could find online and that was perfect for me because that’s what I needed but I can honestly say for my first time experience with Lola’s am beyond impressed, this will not be my last purchase as for the cake it was beautifully shaped, beautifully baked the taste was balanced it just tasted delicious all I had to do was put my sons cake decorations on it. Everyone said it was delicious and looked great so thank you Lolas for your service.

The best cake in London
I was having some trouble with my internet and Wesley( I hope this was the name) helped me in ordering it smoothly over the phone.
The delivery experience was also great. I was updated with exact delivery timelines through out the day. I was not at home and the delivery person kindly waited for me without getting frustrated. And the main thing - the victoria sponge cake was one of the best I ever had. W Lola's cupcake.
