Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. I am sorry to hear that you found your cake to be too sweet.
I can see that you ordered our Disney Lilo & Stitch cake with a double chocolate filling.
This cake is decorated with a buttercream icing and uses a chocolate buttercream in the filling.
Our buttercream is our sweetest icing type, this can sometimes be too sweet for some depending on your taste but I will pass this feedback onto our team.
We might recommend trying one of our cakes featuring a cream cheese or mascarpone icing in the future as these are not as sweet and may be more to your taste.

We’ve ordered loads of cakes from Lola’s over the years. The tall Harry Potter cake looked impressive, but the taste wasn’t as amazing as your cakes usually are. Will stick with the more traditional next time 😊.

The BEST CAKE EVER
The Eton Mess cake is one of the best cakes I have ever eaten. Even more in love with Lola’s now and so pleased I chose this cake for my birthday!

Delicious, gorgeous, show stopping cakes
Easy to order and pick up. Always goes down a treat with kids and adults alike. Their cakes are show stoppers! Lola’s all the way. I just wish the prices were a bit more reasonable for the bigger cakes.
