Unsolvable Authentication Loop

It is impossable to login in my yahoo account as per today.
Believe me, I tried everything in the book,
emailverification, phoneverification (both on present and previous phone), sms verification (both on present and previous phone, trying with adding gmail links (both ways), cachecleaning, restarts etc.
No access to the account either using the app on the old and new Samsung phones or with browers on my laptop.

So I have decided to give up on Yahoo and loose the email account I had for 30 years at least.
But....
I can't even end the account and remove the emails.
A very uncomfortable feeling, it is my personal stuff forced to remain there without my consent.

Yahoo is a horrible email service

Had this email 20 years. iPhone popped up a message to enter password again. Yahoo won’t accept it. I KNOW it’s correct. Recovery email works and I get a code. Enter that and then it takes me to the old phone number I had wanting codes sent there as well. The Person who has my old number gave me the codes and I entered those THEN the jerk yahoo —- replied “ use a browser you used before !!” I’ve used my desk top many times before.
So —- I call. The ONLY people you can speak to are foreign India people with heavy accents and hard to understand. He wants me to send him a copy of my license and credit card !!!
Really —— you want me to pay you yahoo to get into a FREE email ???????? What a scam and a dumb interface name YAHOO to boot. Screw yahoo. Gmail is much more secure and reliable. Do not waste your time on these boneheads.

They switch people to some disasterous…

They switch people to some disasterous new version and do not allow anyone to go back as well as not listening to any of their customers.

IF YOU WANT EMAIL WITH THE COMPANY THAT CHOOSE TO DO WHAT THEY WANT TO YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT YOUR AGREEMENT - IT IS A GOOD CHOICE!

Unable to log into the account

I am having trouble with one of my browsers. SO I opened a different browser. I logged out of a Yahoo account and attempted to log into my main Yahoo account that I usually access from the main browser that has been giving me problems. This account has no real info in it yet Yahoo deems it some top secret deal. I enter the email but Yahoo will not let me just enter the password to log into the account. Instead they feel the need to send some (useless) code to my email address. That would be fine but I have been waiting for 7 hours. I would have asked for a resend but Yahoo determined that I spent to much time attempting to log in to their TERRIBLE system so I was told to try tomorrow. ARE YOU KIDDING? If I wanted to log in tomorrow that is when I would have. I wanted to view the info now, not 7 hours or days later. I attempted Chat but like most of these companies nowadays, Chat is completely useless except if you ask a FAQ. So I can't log in, get help, ask a reasonable question or see the account information. Yahoo asks many days for me to buy a premium service. Why? I can't even get into the account.
