Payoneer is one of the most frustrating, unreliable, and user-hostile financial platforms I have ever had the misfortune of using.
Account freezes happen with little to no warning. Funds get locked for weeks or months. Support gives copy-paste responses that solve absolutely nothing. You are constantly asked to upload the same documents over and over again, only to be told later that something else is suddenly required. There is no clear explanation, no timeline, and no accountability.
Their “customer support” is basically a black hole. Live chat agents either disappear mid-conversation or repeat scripted lines without actually reading your issue. Escalations lead nowhere. Emails go unanswered. You feel completely powerless while your money is being held hostage.
The platform markets itself as a solution for freelancers and international workers, but in reality it creates stress, delays, and financial uncertainty. If you rely on consistent income, Payoneer is a terrible choice.
I strongly recommend avoiding Payoneer unless you enjoy fighting for access to your own money.

Payoneer is now a shit compaby and a shit customer service and a shit concept - they charge you 3% to send money to your bank account - yes, 3%!! and they say they only do this of the account and the bank account are not in the same country - That is not true! I changed my Wise bank account to the same country as my Payoneer account (based on customer service feedback) to realize that they still charge 3% to ay withdrawals to Wise (even though there was no conversion - USD to USD) They are incompetent theives and their customer service reps are just robots who just don't know what to say to cover for their mafia like company. i know, am working on closing all my accounts with them and moving to Wise - I am done with those thieves forever.

I cannot log in to this bastard website because I have not been receiving my verification for the last two days. I have backup code provided by them, but there is no place to input that. I have been paying them a percentage of my money (and my money to them to do business, you know if you know) for this shit service. Looking like I am a thief to them.
Payoneer is a fraud!
I want to transfer my remaining balance (a small amount of a few hundred Euros to my European bank and then close my Payoneer account as I have no use for it anymore. However, besides it obviously requiring you to spend a ridiculous amount of time doing trial and error while reading inaccurate online manuals, a simple task like this seems impossible as every time I click the withdraw tab in my account, I get a message saying that my bank account details are under review. This has now been the same for over two months!
I've reached out to customer service several times and besides getting an automated bs reply each time, I got one quick response from someone saying that he'll hand my case over to the "relevant department". This was four weeks ago and despite replying to his message as well as submitting new support tickets - no response. Beware, this is a fraudalent company, holding your money and charging you for it every year while refusing you to withdraw, until your money's gone.

A thief’s bank, avoid at all costs
Payoneer is nothing short of a thief’s bank. They shut down my account without warning, without a real explanation – and most importantly, they’re holding €4,726 of my money.
I received no justification, no way to access or withdraw my funds. Just a cold automated message saying the account is "permanently closed" and that nothing can be done. That’s not customer service – that’s theft.
I’m currently taking legal action and filing complaints with the relevant authorities. A financial service acting like this, freezing clients' money with no transparency, is dangerous and unacceptable.
There are plenty of better, more honest alternatives. Do not trust Payoneer. Do not put a single cent in their hands – you may never see it again.

I was with Payoneer since 2020 and was rarely using Payoneer only for the payments from Fiverr. I have one partner and I have sent him payments like 3 times in all these 5-6 years. That's my complete usage of Payoneer. In my country, PayPal is not available so I only have Payoneer as payment method to get payments from Fiverr but all of the sudden, my account was blocked even when I didn't do anything wrong. I contacted Payoneer again and again requesting them to re-investigate this case as this must be a misunderstanding. My annual transactions on Payoneer merely reach $1000-$1500 and my last transaction was 1-2 months ago when my account got blocked all of the sudden.
I requested them to please reconsider the decision as I never ever have violated any Terms and Conditions but they refused everything. The customer support stopped responding me and they added my number to automatic calls only so I cannot reach them via call. They disabled the Live Chat for me and they stopped responding on email.
I requested them again that I am not asking for immediate account opening, I am asking for an investigation as this is a misunderstanding that my account is blocked on which I never violated any terms and conditions. They refused to help me with anything.
I found some other emails of Customer Support Specialists and sent them the emails but that too merged with previous ticket where I was being ignored. They don't even tell you what is the reason of this.
I requested again and told them I am ready to provide you with any information, clarification, verification and documentation you need in your case review but they rejected my every request and told me we will not do anything.
I am still hoping if they can help me somehow but what I can see currently, they are not willing to do so and my account of 5-6 years is blocked all of the sudden without any explanation and now I don't have any payment method to receive payments from Fiverr and my freelancing career is at stake just because of Payoneer's misunderstanding which they are not even willing to reconsider.

Absolute FRAUD scums of the earth. DO NOT use Payoneer. They will deny your documents for verification and then keep your money, even though ALL your documents are valid and you are a permanent resident. The customer support is absolutely horrible and useless and nearly impossible to speak to.

I've been trying to contact the service for 3 weeks already to activate my account. Apart from the fact that there is the chat bot which redirects you to the FAQ which does nothing, no support, nor a real person who can explain to you what the problem is. I submit several tickets and get a response, your request is being processed.

Efforts to seek resolution through your customer care channels have proven fruitless. Despite sending two emails outlining my concerns, I have received no response in the past five days. This lack of communication and ineffective support is disheartening, especially considering Payoneer's stature as a reputed financial service provider.
It is evident that there are systemic issues within Payoneer's customer care operations in Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary. Many businesses in these regions, including myself, have been deterred from utilizing Payoneer due to the unprofessionalism and apparent lack of training among your customer service staff.
As a concerned customer, I urge Payoneer to reassess its approach to customer care in these regions. The handling of inquiries and support requests must be executed with professionalism, efficiency, and respect for the valuable time and trust of your clients.
