CON-ARTIST
Stayed in one of John's properties recently and my god, what a rude individual John is. Not a shred of decency - and a poor, poor businessman to say the least. He's a con-artist. Interesting to see that the only positive reviews on this platforms are ones that he invited, and all of the others are negative.
The property that I stayed in was filthy. Rat traps on the floors, gunge on the walls, broken appliances... the works. The worst part was a water leak - John's advice, "put a mop bucket under it". He offered someone to send someone around to fix it meaning I would have to cancel other reservations, which I would be charged for... so I have to pay to maintain his property? I don't think so. He offered a partial refund on the condition I left the property which I refused as it was too late to find new lodgings. Booking.com were shocked by his response, and offered me a refund out of their pocket as apologies, and said sorry on his behalf (something John has difficulty with, not even man enough to say "sorry for my leaky apartment"...) He must have incredibly low standards. John, maybe a little less time playing with your motorbikes and a little more time learning how to run a business or be a decent human being...
This is also a very small business with no legal department - so his advice for complaints was to do so over whatsapp. When pressing him for a contact email, he gave his generic website inquiries e-mail adress. Pathetic.
