Fabulous longer term rental experience
I decided last minute to rent a car for 2 months of my Italian holiday. Locauto's website was easy to access and follow. The booking process was easy. Finding the office and check in process was easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful even making a special effort to communicate in English. The return process was also easy. The car was not the one I booked but the same type. All in all a very good experience. I would use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone renting a car in Italy. Thankyou team.

I'll never trust them again
Due to the theft of some of our luggage we could not pick up the vehicle on time and had to postpone the pickup until the next morning. When we arrived, despite being told by the rental car person over the phone that he could 'postpone' the rental until the nexy day, when we got there he told us the rental had been cancelled and we'd have to pay for a whole new deal with zero refund on the cancelled rental. This means he effectively rented the same vehicle to us twice. Do not trust this company.
