Excellent car rental experience in Florence!

I had a great experience with Locauto in Florence, especially thanks to Francesco. I arrived just 5 minutes before closing, and he was incredibly helpful and professional. Within about 7 minutes, he had everything ready and handed me the car keys.

The whole process was smooth and straightforward—no hassle, no unnecessary fees, and no surprises. Francesco was friendly, efficient, and made the experience very easy.

Highly recommend Locauto, and especially Francesco, for a stress-free car rental experience!

Top service and very friendly personal. Especially at the car Rental station in Firenze City. Everything has been prepared for me when picking up my car. Also, the availability of the Call Center is very good. People answered all my questions quickly. Overall excellent experience!

Locauto was great to rent from, and I was very happy with the perfect car for enjoying both Autostrada and twisty back roads - Opel Corsa with a manual transmission - not too big, enough space for our stuff, fuel efficient, but still liked to accelerate and so nice to get my left foot and right hand engaged with driving again! The staff were helpful and made sure I was squared away. I’m looking forward to me next opportunity to rent from them.

Good experience overall. The car was clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. The whole process was smooth and easy. Everything was exactly as agreed, with no surprises.

Just all very professional, garage team were excellent, picking up the car was easy, definitely the best car hire experience we've had in Europe.

Was charged a ton last minute because I was in a bind. They added tons of extra fees and I am generally dissatisfied with the rental.

Great service, no fuss collecting the car. No hidden payments, got the no worries package and it was all a 'no worry' experience. They explain about the local zoning and how to navigate it. Very happy with my car and experience, would definitely use them again.

The person telling at pick up diesel was full then it was less then 1/2 tank upon returning asked me if it was full again I returned with 3/4 , also not telling where to park instead made me move it just not happy with all the money I paid

Check in with as a breeze and the young lady was very friendly and helpful as was the person who handed the car off to us.

Return was also easy and again the person who checked us out was very friendly.

Great location - super-close to the Firenze SMN train station and easy to find. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and fun and lovely. Easy to pick up the car and drive off with no delays, and the same when we returned it. One of the best car rental experiences we've ever had! Thank you!
