Clean and well kept cars
Clean and well kept cars, the staff is very friendly and speaks english. If you rent online, for picking up the car you first need to go to the office in the airport and they will guide you from there to the car.
The only problem we had was when we gave the car back, it was pretty tricky to find the right parking lot. More signs in the airport parking lot would help

My only comment refers to the price of the full insurance which I believe was expensive, more than 50% of the car rental cost

Everything was fine
We rented a car for 5 days. We picked it up in Catania and dropped it off in Palermo, and everything went very well. The staff was helpful; the procedures were simple. Good service.

After already purchasing additional…
After already purchasing extra insurance when we booked we were heavily pressured to buy additional insurance on arrival. They also tried to push fuel and breakdown cover. All of which we declined - which we apparently didn’t need. I thought Locauto was one of the better brands that didn’t try to upsell and pressurise people at the start of their holiday. Disappointed!

Cristina was awesome! She helped us with some card issues and she was super nice overall. She also upgraded our ride to fit our needs and our destination traffic.
