There were no cars in my class and they were trying to force me to upper class and pay more. Not good experience in customer care and very bad attitude of sellers.

Professional, fast service and nice staff!
An employee explained insurance upgrades but didn't try to force us into buying anything extra.
We got a nice car, every prior damage shown and documented.
We were on time and met all the requirements for pick up and return and thus had no issues and a great experience!

I had a great experience at locauto and Emanuele made it a lot better, he made me feel comfortable and very pleased eith the service.

The car itself was great, but we had a communication problem. We booked a car via Booking.com. Unfortunately, while we were flying to Sicily (Catania), our flight was diverted to Palermo due to ash clouds from Mount Etna. Upon arrival, we went straight to the Locauto office. We were told there that we could only pick up the car in Catania. We said we would drive to Catania then, though it would take us a few hours. We were assured this was not a problem and that a note would be left on the file. When we arrived in Catania a few hours later, they initially claimed the reservation no longer existed. They eventually found it but then told us our car was gone and we had no claim to it; instead, we were offered a much more expensive vehicle. Had we known this, renting a car directly from Palermo would obviously have been much easier—we would have saved ourselves a five-hour drive. We find this lack of communication between their own offices very poor. Ultimately, it cost us time and money, and spoiled what should have been a great start to our vacation. Picking the car was fast but the drop Off was faster.
Nice staff, best car.
I recommand booking the car with the no worries option, the other drivers in Sicily dont respect the rules Quite well 🤭.

Easy check out, quick and professional service, clean car that met the expectations.

I recommend this rental company. The service was friendly, helpful, and eager to help. The car was dirty on the outside, very dirty and stale on the inside, and different from the one I ordered, but the size was the same. Returning the car before opening hours went smoothly and without any problems.

The experience was great, mainly upon our arrival. Our British Airways flight was really delayed, and we arrived at Catania after midnight. Hopefully, the staff is still there to help us to get a car and continue our trip without further problems. Thanks to all the guys at the front desk who worked a lot later than midnight!

Everything was perfect, service, staff and booking process.

Quick pick up and return but instructions to walk to car pick up are verbal and not super clear. The drive back and where to go in the parking lot isnt clear. Sign to "P4" are not easy to see

Hello,

We rented a car directly from Locauto at Catania Airport. Our needs and preferences were taken into account when choosing the car, and we were offered several insurance options. We chose the full coverage package, which made everything much easier, especially since we had not driven in Italy before.

The only downside was that there was no option for an easier or faster refund of the security deposit, like some booking platforms offer. This was a small negative, as we returned the car in the same condition as when we picked it up, apart from normal road dust and dirt from driving.

The staff spoke excellent English, provided great customer service, and both the pick-up and return process were simple and efficient.

Overall, we are very satisfied with our experience and would be happy to rent from Locauto again.

I recently rented a car from the Catania Airport location, and my experience with the staff was absolutely excellent. We arrived about 15 minutes late, but the team at the desk was incredibly polite, understanding, and didn't make any issue out of it. Their customer service was professional, welcoming, and very helpful.

The only downside is their website's online check-in system, which definitely needs an upgrade. Even though you try to complete the check-in online, the system doesn't allow you to successfully upload/attach your driver's license and ID. As a result, we had to manually rewrite and provide all our details again from scratch at the desk, which defeats the purpose of a fast online check-in.

Overall, 5 stars for the amazing staff and local service, but I highly recommend Locauto updates their IT system to make the digital pickup process smoother!
