We just had our items collected today and fingers crossed everything will be okay. Harry in the office is responsive, however, the collection was a bit stressful because the message they send you that they are on their way comes via email not text. That was a problem. They should do both because we missed the email (who is constantly checking email?). My son had put all the boxes in the entry of the building and ran out briefly to grab lunch. Sure enough in the 30 minutes he was out, they came and took everything. He returned to see everything gone and got nervous. Anyway, a text would have eliminated that problem. They will store for 4 months and we will see how the delivery goes. For now 4 stars. If we get it all safely, we will add the 5th star.

They cost way more than the competition when it comes to delivery, say they have flexibility until you are locked into a contract and magically there is no more flexibility, and ship THE WRONG ITEMS to the delivery address. They never sent the tracking number, they were slow to reply via email about when it would be shipped, and shipped the wrong item WITHOUT PROTECTION. I had to correct the delivery instructions and address on my end as they said "they could not do it on their end".

They are good in communication with pick up and accomodating changes to packing and collecting, but after it's in the warehouse you are ignored from any assistance or help, even when I am actively trying to provide help such as delivery instructions and help with identification and other documents. If you want your items back in one piece, choose another service.

Local Student Storage was nothing short of so obliging and in every way accommodated any changes and needs I had as a student who needed to store their belongings over the summer! They were prompt and efficient in their correspondence and services and I would always be inclined to request their services that assure the same level of action!
