Cumbersome handling by Local Financial Advice
Informed me that the company was RCW. I found their website and it did not state that they were authorised andf regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. I clicked find an advisewr and it was clear from the phone numbers that they were all based in N. America.
A subsequent call clarified that RCW is the parent company of Brewin Dolphin who are authorised and regulated by the FCA and they are based in the UK.
That should have been disclosed earlier as I nearlhy didn't proceed.

Exceptional customer service
After reporting a frustrating first match which was futile - due to the failings of the person I was matched with - my LFA handler was exceptionally helpful and set up a second meeting with an excellent adviser. Rachel was tireless in pursuing my earlier dissatisfaction and keeping in touch to make sure I was getting what I needed. Excellent customer service, but maybe some weak matchees in their pool. Damned Computers
I filled in the correct details and when I requested a local contact it returned asking for the same information, the problem was I have two first names and it asked for the first and surname and still refused to select a contact. Very unsatisfactory and disgusting. I am 73yr. old and computers are causing me untold stress and anxiety. I am not and will not become computer literate because I experience constant foul-ups that are not my fault
