After setting up my small business and trying to find a way of promoting it I came across this company. After £4k of fees I can honestly say it was the worst business decision I ever made, did not get a single lead. After asking for monthly payments they automatically took £1600 out of my account with no apology or rectification. The Sonar subscription is a complete waste of £100 per month and the In Your Area adverts are extremely poor.

I won't repeat what other reviews have said but my experience has been exactly the same, wish I read the reviews before signing up to their 'services'.

Please avoid and find a local marketing company to help you.

Wasted £12,000 with Reach

Wasted £12,000 with Reach, we were promised a huge ROI but noticed absolutely 0 gain.

They were a very convincing team and we naively got caught up in their promises without taking into consideration that we were just throwing money away.

Should've read these reviews first, please be wary - if it sounds too good to be true....

I wish I'd read these reviews before

Unlike most other business' where money is paid and a service provided, advertising appears to be just a big gamble with no guarantees. I put my faith in this company because I was assured that with their wealth of experience, they could help me. I did not get a single lead from this advertising company despite paying out a huge amount of money. To say I am disappointed does not even begin to cover it. Given my own experience and clearly that of other small business' I would suggest this company is not suitable for small business owners

Promised the earth delivered very…

Promised the earth delivered very little - a frustrating experience which left me £1800 out of pocket due to an unauthorised transaction after I’d paused the marketing campaign - wish I’d have avoided these guys as they never refunded the transaction - maybe someone reads this and gets in touch with me to put it right ??

I came to reach because of their local…

I came to reach because of their local news websites. We dealt with Duaine, and he was a huge help. Nothing was too much trouble and he was great fun to deal with. The customer service from him made the whole experience really easy and pleasant. It's made me far more inclined to recommend this advertising to my clients.

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service. I have paid over £2000 to reach after I was told if I did not my website would be taken down. They had no authority to do this as they did not control the domain or hosting fees. Therefore, I paid over £2000 due to a threat made on false information. This form of "sales" is comparable to theft.

The level of professional conduct throughout my time with them has been utterly awful. I shall only focus on this payment issue. Once I made the payment, I asked for confirmation that it was reach keeping the website live as I had my doubts. No confirmation ever materialised. I have been trying since Sept to get my stolen money back but the amount of times I have been ignored is now beyond count.

SMALL BUSINESSES DO NOT ADVERTISE WITH…

SMALL BUSINESSES DO NOT ADVERTISE WITH THIS COMPANY! We spoke in-depth with the accounts manager about our goals as a small business and how we need our budget to be an investment, and we would expect sales to be made from the £500.00 advert as this is a lot of capital for a small business. Our advert generated fewer clicks than the £20.00 Facebook advert we ran, we had at least 12 people in our target demographic & location log on to the news outlets' digital pages, and no once did the advert display. We were told the targeting software was guaranteed to propel our brand and was later told by an ex-employee Reach Solutions are liars, their website is overpopulated by ads, and unless you have £10,000 budget no one will talk to you. In a tearful meeting with the same accounts manager, my small team explained how we couldn't afford any other advertising campaigns and to have such poor results is scary, said manager then promised us a follow-up campaign in the form of an online story and has now ghosted us for close to three weeks, phone calls, emails everything. Please stay away from this advertising platform, we are absolutely gutted we listened to their lies and are now minus £500.00 for fewer clicks than a £20.00 Facebook ad would generate.

Scamming small businesses...disgusting

We are a small fashion brand based in South Wales - we worked with Greg Jones from Reach Solutions on a Wales Online campaign. During his pitch to us, he explained that he could do very carefully targetted ads. We went ahead with the campaign and invested a lot of money for a small business, like ourselves. He was very persistent with contact during the process. When the ad went live we noticed we were receiving little to no clicks and 0 sales from the campaign. We informed Greg about this and were passed onto a colleague called Amanda, who got back to us saying this is what they would expect from a campaign of this size (bearing in mind we were promised lots of clicks and sales from this budget). Once Greg back off leave, he explained that the colleague had no idea what she was talking about and got confused. Greg said he would change some things around to get us more attraction - this actually made the clicks go down even more - if this was even possible! We then arranged multiple meetings with him to discuss the fact we were not happy with the way the campaign went. When we finally arranged one he didn't even turn up and scheduled for another time. Once we managed to speak to him he explained he was unsure why it didn't work as the visuals we created were good. He said he would arrange for an article to be written for us in Wales Online - we were happy about this and hopeful for better results. A week went by and we heard nothing so we made contact to see if there were any updates, he responded saying it was in the making. We have now sent 8 emails since then and rang the office multiple times and have not heard from him in about 3 weeks. We have now had a meeting with a very established radio station concerning advertisement and mentioned our campaign with Greg - the individual has informed us that this company is a scam and no one ever makes any money off these campaigns unless you are a very big company sich as Nasty Gal or Asos. The individual also informed us that they have absolutely no way of targeted ads and they just get shown to anyone on the site. We feel completely let down and as if we were sold a dream which they knew would not be delivered. This has had a huge impact on our tiny business and we now believe this company is a complete scam. Please do not be fooled by the initial friendliness - they do not care once they have had your payment. Avoid Reach at all costs.
