APR of 320% instead of 75%apr as peimised
I applied for a loan with Loans 2 Go because I believed the APR would be much lower, around 75%, based on my understanding of the information presented during the application process.
However, after my application was approved and the funds were transferred to my account very quickly, I was then required to sign documents showing an APR of 320%, which was significantly higher than I expected and far beyond what I consider affordable.
While the application process was fast and the money arrived quickly, I feel the cost of borrowing was not sufficiently clear to me before the funds were released. Had I fully understood that the APR would be 320%, I would not have proceeded.
I would advise anyone considering a loan to carefully read all documentation and check the final APR and total repayment amount before accepting the agreement.
