Buyer beware!
UPDATE: Ein paar Tage nach der Bewertung wurde ich von Felix, dem Customer Relations Manager von Livinda kontaktiert. Nach einigen sehr konstruktiven Gesprächen, in welchem wir unsere Anliegen darlegen konnten, bot uns Felix verschiedene Möglichkeiten an. Zunächst eine reduzierte Rücksendegebühr von 150€, dann ein passendes Kissen Set, für das zuvor gekaufte Sofa oder einen Gutschein für den Kauf weiterer Produkte. Da wir dafür keinen Bedarf hatten und lediglich den Pouffe zurücksenden wollten und bereits bei der Lieferung des Sofas ein Fuß abgebrochen war, einigten wir uns schließlich auf eine kostenlose Abholung des Pouffes durch Livinda. Danke Felix für die lösungsorientierte Herangehensweise!
Extremely disappointed!
Livinda advertises their products with a risk free 30 day return. However, when the product (one module) arrived and it did not even sit well/flush with the other existing modules that I already purchased with them. There is a big gap when the modules are correctly connected and this was explained (with pictures) to the customer service.
On the day of delivery itself I sent them pictures and an explanation that the module did not fit and there is in fact a gap. I was asked to send more photos.
The reply I received was simply: you may return it if it does not fit and the return cost would be 200-300€. The next day, I received another message from customer service informing me that the return cost would be 250€-350€. It seems that they change their mind on return costs for a single module just to deter customers from enforcing their rights.
Firstly, it is false advertising to state that your customer are “risk free” in such a case.
Secondly, the single module cost ~400€, it is pure extortion to charge customers more than half the price for a return.
Thirdly, I was offered the option of dropping it off for free at their factory, which is 8 hours away! I subsequently asked if I could at least send it back to their showroom in Munich, to which of course I received a negative reply from their customer service!
In essence, I am being FORCED to keep this purchase since it clearly makes no sense to have to pay Livinda money to return an item which does not even fit with the rest of their own modules of the same model!!
