I purchased a 25 Oz PureVis bottle and match loop accessory for a trip to Italy. There was a mechanical issue with the loop that allowed the bottle to fall to the ground causing a dent. I reached out to the Customer Service Department at Larq and they were outstanding. They not only replaced the faulty loop but also replaced my two week old water bottle. Oscar was awesome and just asked for photos and immediately scheduled a new bottle and loop to be sent to me. I have had so many experiences with CS departments where they insist this or that is not covered, no consideration of the complete picture of the incident. In this case, the service was awesome and in today’s market place, the product, which is great, is important and CS was equally important in making the Larq experience great.

This is a badly designed bottle for drinking water from. Its unique features are good but basic drinking design has been forgotten. It doesn’t measure water consumption properly unless you put In on a flat surface so it’s rubbish for being out and about, in a bag or running (which is what it’s advertised for)
I emailed my helpful product feedback which was ignored . I had to sell the bottle on Vinted. Don’t buy this product it’s too overpriced and badly designed.

My PureVis wand stopped working and the team was very responsive and sent me a new one. So easy and quick working with them. I’ve had no other issues with my pitcher!

The Larq bottle itself is very good, water tastes better.
The filters are a bit expensive and the last ones we recieved didn't work properly.
Because of this I informed Larq and my issue was dealt with by Patricio. They kept in contact with troubleshooting hints and once it was established that it was a filter error, sent me a new replacement pack.
Can't fault the customer service really.

What do you mean you don’t accept returns of opened products? It’s a WATER bottle — of course I had to open it in order to test it. Otherwise, how would I even know if it works?
The product is clearly defective: it leaks water and makes drinking very difficult. And it’s not just one — I bought TWO bottles, and both have the same defect. That’s almost 300 euros wasted. This is completely unacceptable.
I consider this a scam. You are selling expensive bottles (over 100 euros each!) that don’t work properly. I have every right to demand a full refund. If you refuse, I will escalate this to the Consumer Protection Authority and the Ombudsman for buyers’ rights. I will also make this public so that other potential customers are aware of what kind of service you are providing.
I urgently demand:
1. Clear instructions on where to send both bottles back.
2. A full refund of the money I paid, without excuses.
This situation must be resolved immediately.

I am originally from Zimbabwe but currently live in Canada. We recently returned to Zimbabwe for my youngest son’s wedding. My husband and I and son and daughter in law were using our LARQ bottles, even drinking river water and water from tanks built into safari vehicles. Water tasted fine and nobody got sick. The rest of the party had to source bottled water which was not always available. We continued through Zimbabwe into Botswana and Namibia. Way to go LARQ. What an amazing water bottle and trouble free experience on cleaning and purifying the water we drank

I just wanted to say how much I love my new pure vis 2 bottle, and how helpful the customer service team are - specifically Katherine, with helping to solve issues around replacing my lid (through accidental damage) and then rectifying the issue of my straw to the filter not sealing properly - all so professionally dealt with and now working perfectly, I’m delighted- thank you LARQ team, I’m a very happy customer!
All very quick, helpful and friendly responses and I even had a video demonstration for the straw issue which showed it perfectly!
Average overpriced water bottle
The LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 is just average. The water intake tracking is more often than not inaccurate, ESPECIALLY if you have ice in your water bottle. The app is very basic, and you can’t customize settings such as how frequently to run the PureVis cleaning cycle, nor can you have it run the adventure mode cleaning cycle regularly instead of the regular one. The filter is difficult to use if ice is in the bottle. Also, black build-up begins forming in the bottle where the straw connects to the lid, so you wind up having to clean the bottle just as much as you would a regular water bottle. Overall, if you like ice in your water bottle or want accurate water intake tracking, this bottle isn't for you.

SEPT 24 UPDATE: After posting this review, Lauren, the head of customer experience, contacted me a day later and after some back and forth over the course of 4 business days, she successfully updated my payment information, ensured I paid the same rate for my filters as before and scheduled a delivery date where I would be home to receive it. Nonetheless, it shouldn't be this difficult and require so much of my time, effort, and back and forth (August 22 to September 2) to do a simple payment update, especially for a premium product under Brita ownership. Surely they have the resources to provide effective and efficient customer service.

So then I tried to add my Paypal account which I successfully used to pay for a new LARQ Purevis bottle a week earlier. But payment with that also failed. Repeatedly.
I've been going back and forth with customer service who admits the error is with their system and cancelled our subscription as a result. But now they've instructed me to start a new subscription plan that forces me to PAY MORE for the exact same subscription! I've spent over $500 with LARQ already and this is how I'm treated for THEIR system error?! I have to pay more because they messed up???
Is this intentional extortion??? Because it sure looks like it. Any normal customer service team would simply create a new subscription at the grandfathered price and process the goddamn payment with two fully functioning payment methods in my account. Why is this so difficult???

Love the water bottle water tastes great it's the best one I've ever owned. Customer service is also great I appreciate all the help and getting everything handled in a timely matter very appreciated.
Disappointing quality — not worth the money
My partner and I purchased two LARQ bottles, and unfortunately we’ve both had a very poor experience. The bottles develop an unpleasant odor extremely quickly — we need to clean them after just two days of use. We have no idea where the smell comes from, but it’s persistent and frustrating.
The lids also feel poorly made, and the drinking spout is uncomfortable to use. On top of that, the bottles don’t keep water cold at all. Even after 24 hours in the refrigerator, the water warms up very quickly once you start using it.
Overall, we’re extremely disappointed with the quality. We’ve since moved on to other brands like Stanley and are considering Lifestraw instead. In our opinion, LARQ bottles are simply not worth the price.
Scam company - Avoid
Company charges premium prices but offers the worst customer service i've experienced. My bottle arrived defective, customer support takes days to respond. Eventually I was sent a replacement part which I told them wouldn't work but they insisted. Now 3 weeks later, I still have a defective bottle and my emails asking for a refund are being ignored. Avoid at all costs!
Dissappointed by LARQ Water Bottle
I received the LARQ bottle as a gift (with filter subscription) and wanted to love it, but it fell short. Ice melts in under 30 minutes, and customer service told me the bottle should be kept refrigerated when not in use, defeating the point of an insulated bottle.
The straw/filter design is clunky. The straw doesn’t fit well, you sip air, and adding ice makes it nearly impossible to close the lid. Refilling is inconvenient and overall not user-friendly.
Customer service was responsive in canceling my subscription which is why I gave a star, but I couldn’t get a refund since I removed the sticker with the serial number and tossed the box. When I asked how to leave a review, I never got a response.
For the price, I expected far better. Between the poor insulation, awkward design, and strict return policy, I can’t recommend it.

The ordering process was simple and quick. A piece of my bottle cap fell off and they worked hard to replace with the same limited edition color.
Excellent Support, Back to Loving my LARQ
I purchased a LARQ water bottle a few weeks ago and was really impressed at first. About a week in, I started experiencing some connection issues. I reached out to support, and they were quick to respond and very helpful. Over the course of a few days, they identified the problem and released an update through the app. Once I applied the update, my bottle worked like new again.
What stood out most was the level of customer support—responsive, attentive, and proactive in fixing the issue. It’s rare to see a company so committed to making sure their product works as intended. I’m now enjoying the bottle again and very happy with both the product and the service.
