Steer clear of Little Bay restaurant

The service in this restaurant was poor and food overpriced, and to top it all, the ONLY food this restaurant serves is halal. This is where animals have their throats slit and very painfully die in extreme pain while bleeding to death. For obvious reasons, they don't mention this on their website!

Just to be clear, this review is for Little Bay restaurant in Gibraltar!

Hello Steve, this is the first time we have had such a review. First and foremost, the suppliers we have delivering our produce send halal meats to us.

As restaurants on the ROCK, we are not spoilt with choice as there are a limited number of companies in this sector for all the restaurants to use. I would think most places are serving halal meat in Gibraltar based on my knowledge of the supply chain.

We have not mentioned it as we never thought it was a cause of concern but you have taken either a ethical or political view upon this, which is your right of course.

The quality of food is what has won us multiple awards over 9 years of trading and our menu is priced according to level of food produced, ingredients used and level of service given. We are a very popular restaurant which can be seen on our social media platforms and we have over 55k diners year visit us from not just Gibraltar but many other countries too.

I can only presume looking at your other three 1 star reviews on trust pilot that you will not be visiting us again and you will probably struggle to find many restaurants globally who don`t use halal meats as they wish not to alienate a certain demographic either.

Regards

Bob Kumar
