Link has the worst and most awful service I have ever experienced. They disconnect without any prior notice, customer service is very poor. I lost my right to work remotely because of their disgusting and terrible service. I will cancel the contract and notify ofcom of their poor service.

Awful. Stay away if you wish for reliable WiFi. Even when it’s up, it drops out every couple of seconds. Doesn’t seem to be just us reading the other reviews.

Worst broadband provider I've been with. Service is constantly slow and having issues.
Very annoying when I need it for work.
They are always 'updating their service' with constant early morning outages / planned maintenance.
I think that tells you something about how well their system can support the demand they have.

I am giving Link 3stars because they appear to have resolved the issue but seem to be saying - admitting that the upgrade they did some weeks ago caused problems … after telling me several times to reboot the OFNL box take the Ethernet cable out of the router and turn the router off for 5 mins ( this has changed from 15 mins to 30 mins to 15 mins to 5 mins).. it is now recognized as their problem …..
So 3 stars is an interim score…

Avoid this broadband provider at all costs. I am stuck with them for now because my new build estate is covered only by the OFNL, so we had a choice of around 30 expensive, rubbish providers. This is changing and we are switching soon to CityFibre or YouFibre.
I pay £50 a month for 300mbps, which is very expensive in comparison to other providers.
Since the start of 2024, I've had around 15 planned maintenance nights, where the internet goes off randomly. On top of this, my internet goes off at least once a week and stays off all day and sometimes the night too. I've complained to them multiple times and they dismiss complaints on the phone (when they answer the phone). If you email regarding a complaint, you get no response. I have emailed 4-5 times since July 2023 and on the 18/04/2024, I got generic responses to all my previous complaints and tickets, as if they were clearing up open tickets quickly.
They also do not respond to tickets, I've had some open for weeks in the past.
They hide how to complain on their website behind a contact form they never answer. If you do have a complaint unresolved, you can contact the Communications Ombudsman (which is Link Broadbands ADR scheme provider), which I have done because their service is rubbish. If you do contact the Communications Ombudsman, their name on there is "Link Broadband" (without the s)... Very sneaky of them to try hide even with their ADR scheme provider...

Disgusting company internet goes off no help or support try calling can’t get through line goes dead no out of hours service closes at 6pm when you do eventually get through can’t understand a word they say no one English goes through to India !!! What kind of a company is this ??? I be cancelling 4 times this week no bloody internet !!! AVOiD AT ALL COSTS do not use these !!!! 😡 funny how you scroll down page and there’s more 5 star reviews than 1 star think they make them up 😩 and no comments on the negative feed back on how to improve and make their service better for customers!!! Downtime can sometimes be expected however the customer service is appalling. There is no update on the website to when you can expect a resolution, there is no support outside of working hours, and the page on the website for out of hours support takes you to a 404 page. I tried logging into my account on 4G but it seems you can only do this over Wi-Fi.
I work from home so when the Wi-Fi goes down during the day I’m unable to tell my customers when I can resume work. If you try calling during work hours then the line goes dead as soon as you connect.

Link Broadband is a major disappointment. Attempting to contact them is like shouting into the void – their customer service is virtually unreachable.
And when it comes to their internet reliability, it's a rollercoaster of frustration. Prepare for frequent outages and speeds that make you nostalgic for the days of dial-up.
Save yourself the aggravation and find a provider that actually delivers on their promises. Link Broadband will only leave you feeling let down and out of pocket.

I've been with this company since 2021 and until, more or less, 6 months ago I experienced a good stable service and had nothing to complain about, quite the opposite, I would easily recommend them. Unfortunately over these last few months the service degraded massively and started experiencing very regular and severe data packet loss, to the point that continuously video calls became quite affected so I complained and for a couple of weeks the service seemed to come back to normal but that didn’t last and before I had a chance to complain again I reached the last straw!!
This last straw that led me to leave the company was the fact that at around 18:40 on a weekday the network simply died and I realised that the company doesn’t have any type of support from 18h onwards. The internet only resumed the following day at around 08h by which point I was trying to get through to the support to find out what was going on as there had been no warning nor was there any communication about incidents. Sadly this didn’t last and around 11h it was gone again never to return until a day later….. By which point I finally managed to get through to the “support” team that unapologetically said there had been unscheduled maintenance and that I needed to reboot the equipment…
To be noted at no point was this unscheduled maintenance communicated before or after the fact, nor that the clients needed to take action to have the service resumed due to the incident. In fact whenever there has been scheduled maintenance the request is always not to reboot the equipment.
Given both the service and the customer service have gone completely downhill the obvious step is to leave them and caution others not to be caught in the disgusting cesspool this provider currently is.

Their service used to be very good, until recently connection is dropping quite often, being disconnected several times in the past few months, lasting more than 24 hours each period of no internet. Their CS team will connect/divert my phone call through to their "technical support" until the line is dead, sans any help or assistance from them on how to get back the connection running. I was one of their subscriber since April 2021and I decided to terminate my rolling contract today [11April2024] because the quality of service [both technical and customer service] I am getting now has gone from excellent to worst.

When I 1st got internet service with Link it was excellent but in the last 6 months it has got worse.
At leat 14 days so for this year without internet, this doesn't include the casual outages that last for a couple of hours and then there is planned outages.
No weekend Tech support, long waiting times to get through and then overseas call centres
Link blame MS3 who are the engineers that keep attending but I can’t get a clear resolution 😡

I moved home and wanted to make use of the high speed connection and TV services. After installation I was told the TV services were no longer part of the package, I had trouble with the router which seems to lose its settings, the engineers do help when available, they aren't 24x7x7 if I recall correctly, but I simply can't setup a router each time I want to use the internet, having had the service for over a year I think it's worked for up to a couple of weeks, I use a different provider but still pay £37 a month for 2x years for no service.

I have contact the customer support tech team to report an issue which I am facing and I have spoke to the person called Alfie over the phone explaining him that my wifi connection is poor and not getting any wifi on my room upstairs he said he cannot guarantee that the connection will work everywhere as i need to find a solution for my self which is a terrible answer to my query when I asked so then if I have issues with my internet connection whim should I ask for help he said he don’t know. Why should I need to pay someone who’s not willing to resolve my issues it’s simply a scam as you getting money out from the customer and delivery a poor service I will take this further and report this company
