I’ve been using SEO PowerSuite tools for almost 7 years, and I can say it’s one of those solutions that doesn’t get enough attention in the community. Rank Tracker is one of the most cost-efficient rank checking tools out there, with deep customization (locations, search engines) and a strong keyword research module. For example, you can quickly see which keywords your competitors rank for that you’re missing. WebSite Auditor is also very useful - it lets you run site audits and generate “needs fixing” reports you can share with clients. Yes, it’s desktop software, which comes with some limitations, but when set up properly, it’s very effective.

SEO PowerSuite provides valuable insights and helps a lot with my content strategy. It’s also great for competitor research and rank tracking. I like that you essentially get four tools in one, each with a wide range of features for managing SEO projects and reporting. The biggest advantage is that it’s unlimited in terms of projects and keywords, which is pretty rare among SEO tools.

I often use SEO PowerSuite and it’s an all-in-one solution for keyword research, rank tracking, site audits, backlink analysis, and more. I work as a freelancer, so I don’t have the budget for heavy tools, but honestly, I don’t feel like I’m missing anything with the features and insights PowerSuite provides. Also, their support team is active and always ready to help with any questions or issues.

The site and on-page audit reports in WebSite Auditor are very helpful. It’s actually the first thing I do with any new client — run an audit to get a clear overview of issues and the overall setup. Then I switch to Rank Tracker to evaluate rankings and start keyword research. The keyword research module is best, and you can choose many methods to get ideas, for instance, analyzing competitors or pulling suggestions from autocomplete. I do miss some AdSense-related features, but for the SEO work I do, it covers almost everything I need.

I mostly use Rank Tracker and was really happy when the team added AIO results tracking. Now I can see whether my sites appear in AI Overviews and analyze how that correlates with traffic and SERP fluctuations. I also like that there are no limits on the number of projects, and you’re not billed for extra domain checks. Sometimes the software can freeze (my laptop isn’t the newest), but since everything is saved locally, it’s not a big issue.

SKETCHY COMPANY. POSSIBLE FRAUD. AFTER PAYING THEY ASK YOU FOR BANK STATEMENTS, TRANSACTION NUMBERS AND PHOTO ID.

Be very careful to cancel your subscription, or you will get hit with a charge for signing up. You have been warned.

I bought this software and used it for a few weeks. After one year, I was charged again for another year’s subscription. I was at my computer the moment they charged me and I saw the email notification. I contacted the company (literally within minutes) and explained that I don’t use the software and didn’t want to renew. They said they would have to check with the software owner to see if they would agree to the refund. The owner said no! They said that at the time of signing up, I agreed to the renewal and if I didn’t cancel the renewal its too bad. They didn’t even send me a notice of renewal beforehand, as reputable companies do. So, I lost my money. This is a very shady practice. I bitterly cannot recommend this software provider.

Received an email saying subscription will expire. It was just renewed. Within Hours I requested refund. Refund denied. Deceptive renewal practices.

I bought their product for 1 year and only use about 1 week then stopped using. I didn't ask for a refund but after 1 year, they renew my subscription without notification. I ask to refund an hour later but they denied because of ToS. Ok fine!

The system is outdated. No updates for the past +2 years. Support is limited. The UI is antiquated and the ability to make payments against invoices is anywhere from 3 to 15 steps. The CRM capabilities are subpar at best. The ability to extract your data for import is restrictive and the data is not owned by you, so they only allow some information entered in customer profiles to be extracted.

The software is very heavy and my computer did slow down. After 1 year and 3 months of use I can say that the data seem not always reliable.
The worst thing is that they renew your license before the expiration date without notifying you and they do not refund your money.
The payment and subscription are managed by 2Checkout Verizon but they are not able to assist the customer and they seem accomplices of the company link-assistant.com . It is unacceptable that in 2025 a company that manage payment and subscription process don't send an email to notify the customers about a renewal (in advance). It is all the more unacceptable because they don't respect the term of payment and their customer service don't help customer to obtain the refund for a wrong renewal.
Be very careful, look for reliable and ethical companies that respect customers.

Outdated SEO tool run by a greedy company. As mentioned in multiple other reviews here, they don't remind you when rebilling, even though I thought I cancelled my subscription. It was a three year billing cycle, you'd expect them to give a heads up. But no, many would cancel if they did, so just charged me and didn't refund even though I hadn't used the software for a while.
Super unethical keeping money from people who genuinely no longer need your tool. I haven't used it in favour of much better tools which aren't outdated and do the job better. Not recommended in any way.

I was wrongly charged £298 for an unwanted annual subscription renewal because the company failed to send a renewal reminder. After contacting them, they admitted it was due to human error but still refused to issue a refund. This is completely unacceptable—customers should be properly notified before being charged.

To make things worse, the software itself is awful—it’s extremely slow, poorly optimised, and uses a ridiculous amount of local resources, making it barely usable. A waste of money and a frustrating experience. Avoid this company at all costs!

Scam renewals, refusal of refund when cancelling renewal! Customer service is non existent and are just out to get your money and nothing else! Fraudulent is what we call these guys and refuse to refund! Avoid at all cost and the software is crap all the search ranking results are days out of date!

I like seopowersuite because it’s a true all-in-one tool and I can really manage all SEO tasks with it, from finding new keywords to collecting link building ideas. The only con is that it’s a downloadable piece of software, but at the price I pay, I can live with it ;)

I got the WebSite Auditor deal a couple years ago at appsumo and have been hooked ever since. The software (unlike many web based tools) stores all the data on my computer which is important for some clients. The tool provides real good features for technical SEO and content optimization - it crawls the pages, finds errors and categorizes them into critical, warning, informational, etc. That’s super handy, as I can find the critical stuff in a matter of minutes, export the problematic urls and start working on them. I don’t work a lot on content, as this part is mostly outsourced to freelance copywriters, but there’s a handy feature to generate a task for the copywriter based on your target keywords and competitor analysis.

Paid for a yearly subscription ended up using for a month and not bothering anymore as it was pretty much useless. So forgot I even had the product, it then auto-renews and they fail to comply with the law of a 14 day cooling off period to refund your money. All customer service response are like talking to a computer and have nothing personal about them and this is just where it starts.

The data provided for rankings in the software is completely wrong having checked across multiple signed in accounts and offline accounts on Google and Bing.

For competitor analysis most websites these days block this sort of software from being used and if you changed the scraping settings it takes to long to retrieve your data i.e. more than a week!

When it comes to finding websites for guest blogging or backlink acquisition it struggles to understand the sentiment and provides all sorts of spammy low ranking sites which are useless.

This is just a few of the complaints that I have but the list could be endless. I'm not one for writing reviews but just felt this was necessary. As I now have another years subscription I will update again exactly everything that's wrong with it as this is just from memory. PLEASE NOTE: I have paid for the Enterprise Version with all features.

I did not used the software for more than 6 month, as I do not this it was usefull for me.
now they charged me another 299US as this seems to be a renewable without information before. I contacted the customer service and they told me that they informed me before. I asked for evídence, as I did not recieved anything. They blocked me. I asked also for they adress and name to give it to a laywer and the refused and blocked me.
So awoid this company. There are a lot better SEO tools with better customer service
