It's ok, but not great
Pretty annoying that Lingopie took £190 from my account without checking I was happy to proceed after my 7 day trial. Most apps send push reminders buuuut ... I suppose the apps ok in itself

DON’T SIGN UP FOR FREE TRIAL!!!!
Basically got scammed into a subscription, tried to cancel it and was not given a full refund and instead they changed my plan and continued to charge me despite me stating I wanted to cancel the subscription. Bad customer service as well, got no response. I would not recommend this service literally at all. And I almost never write reviews, so just know that my customer service experience was so bad that I was this inclined to write a review.

I saw their YouTube ad on the day before my test. I clicked on the link and everything seemed fine. "A free 7-day trial", WOW! No, no, no. In whatever gibberish language they speak, a free trial is considered taking my money and saying they will give it back in 10 days. As I´ve read through the reviews, I´m starting to question their reliability. Weird program, ok app, VERY BAD payment program and nothing is special about this app as a whole.

Lingopie is great for watching shows in another language. You can stop the video and scroll through each word in the subtitles for its meaning. And you can slow the speed down to be able to understand the language if you need to for comprehension.

Well thought out app, highly recommend
This is an extremely well thought out app, just what I have been searching for. I love the way it has simultaneous English/Spanish subtitles! Also like being able to hover over a Spanish word to get the English translation, so useful to understand how Spanish is constructed. I would highly recommend it! I think this is my ticket to becoming fluent.

Overall Amazing

Good level of customer service
After a few problems regarding registration and billing, which I have to say were completely resolved by the Customer Service Team, I am now really enjoying using this site. The resources are engaging and motivating and a great help with developing my conversation skills. It has provided me with a fresh start,in terms of my learning, as I had become a tad bored and disengaged with the previous app I was using.
