We changed out internet provider and…
We changed out internet provider and the transition for my Linga POS was not a smooth one. Carlos was very patient and had us try everything he possible could to get us back up and running. He was very knowledgeable. We were on the phone with him for 2hrs 49 minutes and he never got mad or upset with us, if he did we didn't know it. It turned out that the internet provider had connected both companies cables into the router. If he had not taken the time to go through every possible scenario with us, we would not have found the problem. I appreciate his kindness and patience and understanding.

New to Linga
We researched new POS systems for about a year, having been on the previous one for 12 years. We chose Linga. All in all, Linga is a very capable system. Very intuitive for back-end menu programming and for the FOH staff taking orders. It has some nice features that our old system lacked (PointOS) and some basic features that is missing, or that we are used to...an employee messaging system, the ability for employees to print-off weekly time in/out data etc...The system seems very stable, and works well minus the occasional issue where we seek assistance from Linga. Technical support is mostly helpful, but you will not get a support representative on the phone when calling; they will have someone call you back. Mostly, they are good at this. I have had one support call where I never received a call back due to the kitchen printer connectivity issue. The calls from support are VOIP, so the call quality is abysmal, plus language barriers make it difficult to understand what they are saying a lot of the time. Vasu, who was my on-boarding specialist was extremely helpful and thorough and has continued to offer us support after going live with Linga. If you choose Linga, be VERY careful to make sure you are getting the correct hardware needed. We had a few issues with this that were mostly resolved in a timely manner. One issue is that when I initially asked Linga (first phone call with them) about some system specifics, I was told that Linga would take ApplePay. Well, they do but specific credit card readers are needed. We were not sent these. In a word, there were some fairly basic communication issues. We were sent a kitchen printer that is not thermal, which is okay I suppose, but we were not asked questions specific to the type of printer we would like. All-in-all, we like the system so far, but time will tell how good long-term support is.

Julio is a amazing technician
I am so grateful that I have Julio to work with!! I have been a loyal customer of Linga and Hybrid for many years and have to deal with changing over new printers and name Change and I am sure all the technicians are good. But Julio goes above and beyond to get the job done and give the education of what we are doing. Customer service is something companies are forgetting about and this young man knows how to do it right!!

Those 5 stars are going to James A. He is the only reason I am not giving less than 5. He was responsive and always helpful. Customer service was attentive but not informative. They do not seem to have the technical knowledge to help with anything so I had to resort to asking James for every one of my problems. The system runs smoothly and easy to edit.

He worked incredibly well with our team, owners and IT professionals to make sure we were operational and efficient. Bryce was extremely patience even though my restaurant menu is extremely large with a combination of sushi, teppanyaki, kitchen and bar. There are some thing I feel Linga can improve on but over all its a great POS system! Customer service was on point and everything was done a a timely matter.

Excellent cloud solution which is built…
Excellent cloud solution which is built for real business owner. Linga has everything you need and more. Whoever built this app know the hospitality business. I have found Linga after I wanted to switch from revel pos, I saved immediately on subscription for my 5 pos restaurant and was able to have my inventory control, waitlisting and online ordering in one platform without any 3rd party.
I recommend Linga if you are thinking about using a cloud-based pos solution.
