I’ve had three deliveries from LillyDirect. The first two were fine. The last one the ice packs were melted different namebrand installation cheap Styrofoam product was not cold. customer service no satisfaction she said the product was fine. I would not order it through them direct I would get it sent to Walmart. I don’t trust them anymore with their cheap packaging.

Zepbound Service & Delivery Even Worse

I’ve been taking Zepbound through Lilly Direct for 5 months. It took over a month for them to process my prescription. Numerous calls, sent to wrong dept, etc. Once started, ordering became a problem again when my doctor increased my dose & I had to take Zepbound late because shipping was delayed. The last 2 cycles were even worse. I received one shipment so late, Lilly recalled it because it was past the safe shipping date. They re-sent it but I had to take Zepbound 4 days late. I placed the current order 8 days ago & have NOT received it yet. Yesterday, Feb 18, 2026, I called Customer Service about late delivery & was put on hold for 18 minutes & they finally told me they had recalled it 4 days ago but would resend it overnight & I would receive it today, FEB 19, 2026 by 1:00pm. NEVER CAME. UPS Tracking says my Lilly order will now be delivered tomorrow, Feb 20, 2026, by 4:00 pm. NINE DAYS FOR DELIVERY. Unacceptable service from LILLY & seems to get worse each month.

Excellent Customer Service

My doctor appointment to update my prescription was very close to the six-week mark when the price increases. I got on chat with a wonderful employee who handled the situation very well and got my updated prescription taken care of before the six-week mark. Her name was Mari V. on the chat. I hope someone gets recognition for excellent customer service.

Unreliable & frustrating experience.

Unreliable, left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Shipment mis-delivered, called lily sent to gift health and got very unprofessional rep who kept repeating that I needed to file a claim. When I told her I'd already tried to file a claim on UPS and their bot told me to contact the shipper, she just kept repeating herself. When I asked how I was going to get the replacement shipment since I needed to take the medicine within a few days, she just kept telling me I had to file a claim. The next day I got a text that a replacement was coming. By then I had canvased my neighborhood and found my actual first shipment. So I called that night and only got Amy the AI assistant who basically told me they couldn't not charge my credit card twice for the month because my shipment had already gone out. I called the next morning and they told me that they don't charge for replacements, but because I'd found my original shipment they would stop the replacement. They i received another text notification of a shipment on it's way???? and now today four days later I received a huge package with the five syringes in it and no medicine. Is that supposed to be a consolation prize? It's a nightmare trying to deal with them. They would make this all a lot easier if they just listed the pharmacies that actually let you do a pick up.

Unreliable, unsafe, and not worth the stress

I signed up for Lilly Direct because my insurance does not cover GLP-1 medications. I am paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket every month, and I chose this route specifically because it was supposed to be reliable and reduce stress around access to medication.
That is not what I experienced.
I received an automated text confirming that my prescription had been received. When I followed up to check on the status, I was told completely different stories depending on who I spoke to. One agent told me my prescription was in clinical review. Another agent told me it had never been received at all, even though my doctor had already sent it twice and confirmed transmission. There was no consistency, no clear explanation, and no sense that anyone actually knew where my medication was or what was happening.
When I pushed for help, I was told to wait 72 hours for leadership to call me back, while I was actively facing the possibility of missing doses of a time sensitive injectable medication. That was honestly the most alarming part. There was no urgency, despite the real physical and mental impact that missed doses can cause.
Trying to escalate only added to the frustration. I found myself repeating the same story over and over to different people, none of whom seemed empowered to actually resolve the issue. What should have been straightforward became emotionally exhausting.
At a certain point, I had to choose my own health and sanity. I switched to Wegovy, and the difference in access was immediate and noticeable. Filling my prescription was smoother, clearer, and far less stressful and cheaper. This only highlighted how unnecessary and avoidable this entire experience with Lilly Direct was.
When you are paying out of pocket, reliability and clear communication are the bare minimum. I expected Lilly Direct to simplify my life. Instead, it added anxiety at the exact moment I needed stability.
I would not recommend this service to anyone who depends on uninterrupted access to their medication.

Wish I could give it a zero

Wish I could give it a zero. They don’t understand a basic prescription. They won’t accept prescriptions from all prescribers. They didn’t process prescription for 72 hours after charging card and then it takes another 72 hours in transit according to them. And they refuse to cancel the order. More worthwhile to pay more at a regular pharmacy, they are completely incompetent. There is no one to talk to who seems to be able to resolve the issue and meanwhile I’m out $500 with no meds

I'm a physician and really have liked…

I'm a physician and really have liked using the Lilly Direct program until I was no longer able to get offer of $499 for 4 vials. Forced renewal of a medication or you lose pricing offer seems like a poor business model now that you can get meds elsewhere. I would loved to have continued with the program since easy to use and direct to home delivery. I've sent prescriptions for 3 other physicians through lilly direct but will be doing business elsewhere.

Advise for transferring your prescription to Walmart

I have had many of the same experiences as others here. I wanted to post this so others would have the information. Originally, I was having my prescription delivered to my home (similar issues with delivery to the wrong address/going on vacation and ordered well ahead of time only to be told that I wouldn't get it in time because I didn't personally contact them, even though I had arranged it through my doctor). Anyway, now I have it delivered to Walmart pharmacy, which has been a better experience...at least on Walmart's end. One thing you need to know is that Gift Health or Lilly (I'm still confused about whose rules apply to whom), does not communicate with Walmart regarding dosage amounts - which is very odd to me, since Gift Health is the one that transfers the prescription to Walmart. I was getting concerned because I had not received the link to process my next prescription so I reached out and they told me they couldn't process it until I had a counseling session with them. They say it is because their records show that I'm jumping from 7.5 to 15 ml...which is not correct. I am going from 12.5 to 15 ml...and they could see that on their end, but it doesn't automatically show up because my order is through Walmart. But customer service said they could see that my last one was for 12.5 and that is what my doctor ordered. Also, I did receive "counseling" from the Walmart pharmacist.

None of this sounds right or logical...but hands are tied until I get my "counseling".

So if you are planning to transfer your order to Walmart and you don't see the link from Gift Health right away, don't wait the 72 hours like I did. Contact them right away so you don't run into this counseling issue.

Incredibly incompetence all around

Incredibly incompetence all around. Finally got my medication after getting a lot of run around from Lilly, and it arrived with no syringes. Now I have to wait at least 3 more days for that before I can use it. Lilly makes an obscene amount of money off of its customers and treats us like crap.

Efficacy concerns

I have been a customer/consumer since February 2025. Some good experiences, several bad. The last two shipments arrived with zero refrigeration. After preaching to customers that their medication MUST BE REFRIGERATED, I spoke with reps (and many bots) and I was given recited scripts using seemingly algorithmic stats about why my meds were fine to use. Here in Georgia, we don't have what is typically deemed as winter. Fortunately, the price went down, but at what cost? Receipt of medication with ZERO refrigeration? It may save money for the company to reduce packaging, but what about the users of Zepbound? I was assured that the vials were fine to use...what choice is there? The recommended local pickup is not a suitable option
...I already pay $10 extra dollars to have my prescriptions sent to a nearby UPS store. More money out of pocket. But who cares? I have expressed my concerns...Eli Lilly is aware. Georgia reached near-record high temperatures last week. I ordered today. Fingers crossed as a cold front is coming through.

Gift Health deserves 0 Stars

This company has to be a scam ! Not sure why Lilly Direct would use Gift Health as a provider. They never did fill my prescription . Their customer service is terrible. I got a different answer every time I called them . I ended up getting my prescription sent to Walmart where it was filled in a few hours!

Started off well, but went downhill

Initially they were good about sending medication in a timely manner, but the last 2 months, delivery has been awful. I order with plenty of time in between doses, pay for the prescription, and even though it’s supposed to be overnighted, it’s been weeks late. Part of this is because if you don’t receive it within a certain window, it’s sent back. They then will not reship your order until they receive the returned shipment from UPS. Customer Service is zero help.

The worst accountability of any company…

The worst accountability of any company I’ve ever dealt with. Got a bad batch of 12.5mg zepbound that did nothing, the last 5 months have been great, this batch is bad. Maybe it was tossed around too much in the shipping process…no replacements offered. Just suck it up and eat the cost of their bad batch of product. This stuff is expensive and their accountability should be more customer friendly. I’m going to take their once in a lifetime refund and go with a compound company. You guys make billions in profit, you should be able to reimburse an occasional bad batch! Profits over people! This company sucks!

Way short of fantastic

My first delivery of Zepbound to my home went well. The 2nd went to the wrong address, so I had to reorder. The third came without the injector needles, so I had to call and reorder that. This was all better than the most recent, in which case I made the mistake of having it delivered to the local Walmart, which equals Eli Lilly in inefficiency. Due to both organizations, I've not been without the med for nearly three weeks, with no end in sight as to when it will ever be delivered. Just a total joke.
