FRAUD I have never been on their website or…

I have never been on their website or ordered any books. I’m old fashion and prefer hard copies off Amazon or the library. When I saw the charge from my bank account I contacted customer service thinking they would refund my money. Not only did they try to lie and say I signed up but tried to offer me a $80 credit instead of refunding my $20. This place is a scam and I’ll be reporting them.

Hi Elizabeth,

We take customer concerns seriously, but we want to clarify that we do not offer any product at a $20 price point. Additionally, after reviewing our records, we found no prior communication with you regarding this matter. It’s possible this charge may be from a different company with a similar name.

We encourage you to double-check your purchase history and contact your bank for further clarification. If you still believe this charge is from us, please reach out to our support team at support@lifehack.org, and we would be happy to assist you.

Hi Ehi

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've faced in receiving your e-books. To assist you effectively, could you provide additional information such as the order number or the email address used for the purchase?

Upon initial review, it appears there might be some confusion. We don't have a record of your name or purchase in our system.

It's possible that you've mistaken us for another company called "Life Hack Library" that also offers e-books.

We receive several complaints just like yours every week from customers who accidentally confuse our two companies.

Before proceeding, could you kindly review your receipt to ensure you're reviewing the right company? If you've made a purchase from "Life Hack Library," I recommend reaching out to them directly.

If you indeed made the purchase from us, please forward your order details to support@lifehack.org so we can investigate and resolve this matter promptly.

Scam: Charged but never received activation email. Customer support never reaponds.

They charged my card but never provided the activation email to log in to the account. Their customer support just sends an auto-reply saying they will get back to you in 24 hours. They don’t. Tried multiple times and nothing.

I guess their “Lifehack” is charging you and then never providing anything.

I'm really sorry for the trouble you've faced. Our email system service had a glitch which we just recently discovered, causing our emails to go haywire.

This is no excuse, and I totally understand how frustrated you are.
If you sent us emails previously, we've sent out a reply and hopefully it reaches your inbox properly!

We want to make things right.

Expensive and not efficient I’ve

I felt pressured to take the service when I first ask for a quote or price. I asked for time to she she would not let me off. I mentioned that I wanted to start the journey when I have finished my exam, she agreed. But after payment she pushed me to start the journey. I felt really pissed off, because I could not full take advantages of the packaged, as I need to focus on my study. I would never recommended this service to anyone. Inc fact, I really think it was useless. You don’t need to spend $4000 for an 11 weeks of online coach to look through your diet for 15 min per week. It is better to go to a nutrition paying $200 per hour and get your diet straighter up. The online gym video was a waste of time. You can YouTube. I would recommended to go for a physical gym and get a personal trainer and do your training at the gym. I really hate the experienced. And I felt so pissed that I had so much pressure on my study thst I felt I could not fully take advanced of the service. I wished she had listen to me and respect my wishes. Antidepressant does make you gain weight and getting diabetics. I did research on. But she said no. She doesn’t or know everything should not have given false information. I lost only 1-2 kilo for thst 11 weeks. Also, you need to put a deposite, and if you changed your mind before the starting date, you cannot get refund from that. While other services you can get refund.

They send out a review link after one meeting online. Like what the heck! It should be rated after the experienced. Only the friend get friend discount, don’t drag your friend down the hole with you if you, when you just sign up. I would never ever recommend this service to anyone.

This year I went to a persona trainer and I nutrition, I doesn’t only $600 I lost 7 kg. Felt so much better when I can do at the physical gym. You feel more safe that yo I would not hurt your body.

It should never recommended or provide a training that there is no personal trainer at the site.

I would recommend people who want to lose weight, go a physical gym and get a personal trainer package that is sooo much cheaper and so much more effective and you would feel safe to do your training.

I hated the experienced and it caused so much mental stress on top of my study.

Hi there,
We hope this message finds you well.

It appears there may have been a misunderstanding or confusion regarding the company you are describing, as the description and pricing you mentioned in your review do not align with what we offer.

We kindly request that you revisit our website, www.lifehack.org, to get a clear understanding of our products and staff. We are not a female fitness coach, and our programs are not priced at $4000. Our mission at LifeHack is to provide valuable insights and resources to help individuals improve their lives through various lifehacks and self-improvement techniques.

It is important to note that there are multiple companies using the term "Life hack" in their names, and this has led to much confusion among some customers. Unfortunately, this is also not the first time that a review aimed at a different company landed on our Trustpilot page.

We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. We would like to clarify that we are not affiliated with the company you may have been referring to in your review.

Expensive and unstructured

There is not much of a structure to the course. Some courses are helpful, others not so much but they don't nearly have enough content for charging $45 ongoing monthly charge. There is new material but not worth the price and again it's hard to follow what to study without a path.

Hi Clemmie,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We tried to get in touch with you through Trustpilot, but you haven't replied to our request to clarify the situation.

We believe you have confused us with another company called "The Life Hack Library."

We know this because we receive several complaints a day exactly like yours (book charge followed by an unwanted subscription) from their customers.

Please carefully recheck your receipt or bank records to verify if this is the case.

If there has been a misunderstanding, please contact us at support@lifehack.org so that we can help you sort things out!

No Comment Section Makes Credibility Low.

There may be articles and write-ups on this website that may be helpful or useful to some people, however, all of that gets pushed to the side when commentary articles do not allow comments.
If 1 singular person is going to create a multi-paragraph article based on their opinion of advice, you should allow are comment section. I recently came across an article that spoke about psychology and how everything in someone's life is essentially their fault. Of course, there are always outside factors, there are people surrounding them, there are environmental situations, social economic situations, etc.
However, all we have here on this website is the article....and no room to comment. Also, where are all of your references with these claims? I find low credibility in a website that doesn't allow user interaction.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Our articles are produced by industry professionals and, whenever feasible, supported by research because we aim to deliver accurate and relevant information. We think this is a unique situation, and in light of your comments, we'll look into it.

You may have noticed that there are many credible websites without comments, even on the general Internet. On the one hand, a comment could be helpful, but on the other, it might degrade the website's quality. Readers may be misled or confused by it if it contains inaccurate or unconfirmed facts. Sometimes some groups that are not typical of the audience as a whole can use the comments section as an echo chamber. It can be disturbing for some readers to encounter harassment or trolling in the comments area.

We value your comments and will make use of them to make our website and content better. We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.

Not for me, Updated. Still not good.

Not for me. Detached and pedantic. Then when listening to the lessons, one refers to "Stage 2" but the lessons have no stage two. Compared to other products, it was disjointed and not very inviting. I thought I had 60 days to refund but was told, on day 32, that I had 30 and their *payment processor* couldn't be reworked for the refund. Hello? Ever heard of mailing a check or Venmo? And then they wrote "your credit will be affected" if I "lose" in asking for a review of the non-refund! Not legal, not accurate. Again, detached and superficial to the real issue at hand. May work for others, but they lost me at the customer service.

Update to reply to lifehacks response to my review.
Sir, this is what your rep sent me in reply. If you want to explain things from your side for those reading my review, you need to include all the facts. I refer your legal team to the US federal as well as individual state statutes on Fair Debt Collection Practices. Your representative is not only incorrect but apparently trying to deter any action by threatening with false "credit affected" statements. Nowhere in my communication did I indicate I would appeal the lack of refund.

I am very sorry to hear that you might want to take action on our refund decline. It's our responsibility to reply to the relative parties all the evidence of your purchase, our refund terms, and evidence of your refund request made long after the official 20 days refund period. This process could take up to 3 months, and with all of the evidence, it means that you may lose on the case and this would impact your credit scores. I believe this is not the best way to solve the issue -- you requested for a refund because you found the course not connecting with you. Please may I ask is there any specific part of the course that didn't meet your needs? I can help forward your feedback to the Lifehack Academy coach, they can provide further assistant and guide you thru the course.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,
Gigi

Hi Ann,

We appreciate your feedback. I want to let others who are reading know a bit more about the situation, which was clearly outlines from our customer service rep. We have never offered a 60 day refund period, only 30 and 20 days grace period.

Below is our exact correspondence from our team member, and as you can see, is not an issue with customer service. We hope you reconsider your 1 star review as we are a small team and take pride in our customer interactions. Please feel free to email me directly at allyson (at) stepcase.com with any further questions!

"I'm really sorry to hear that the course wasn't up to your expectations.
Unfortunately, our refund period is within 30 days of enrollment and our course software has indicated that this period has already passed on your account.

Please let me explain the situation and why we cannot offer you a refund. For our online course, we use a service called Teachable to manage and host our course software and content. This includes using Teachable's payment gateway services which is the one we provide to students during the enrollment process.

Teachable's policy states that schools (eg. Lifehack) using Teachable's payment gateways must adhere to a refund policy and honor all refund requests made within that time. The refund policy is a 30-day refund window, calculated from the date of purchase.

According to the payment gateway records, the transaction date was 23 June 2020. We received your refund request today on 27 July 2020.

Unfortunately, your request was made after the 30-day refund period. Teachable automatically processes payments and locks refunds after the refund period is over (We have no control over this process). This means that the platform will not allow us to issue any refunds for purchases made on 23 June 2020 anymore.

I hope this helps to clarify the situation!"

Thanks for your consideration!

Good actionable framework

The content is direct, clear and to the point. Really nice review of some things I learned in Mindvalley with Lifebook, very complimentary lessons. Actionable items, so far.
The one thing is I've sent information as requested to Ally, at every step, and heard nothing back. So you get this feeling it was set up and now all runs on automatic and I don't get any personal interaction, even though it says I will. That is disappointing, but hey, it was cheap, so... I get it. Good value, just shouldn't say there is a live person at the other end.
