Worst company in vienna ever. Ordered food at 16:13. With a delivery time for 17:00. At 17:00 i went outside of the hotel to wait for the food. In the app a 17:09 the label preparing food changed into delivering food. Which suggests they are on their way from that point. In the app you can see their location. I could clearly see that he was still 200 meters away. At 17:13 the message changed to delivered. Waited till 17:30. Called the restaurant with the question where the food was. The only knew that a driver had taken it. They called lieferando for me and they told the restaurant. We tried to call him but he didnt pickup the phone. We left the food around there.
Worst Joke ever heard. Tried to call lieferando. This phone number is not being used. That directly makes me think this is shady. I opened a refund question in the app and got told the same. You didnt pick up the phone. We left it there. I took a screenshot of my call history (there was no missed call, they just simply didnt call) we left it at the hotel. The reception didnt see any food delivery, outside there was no package. Which i believe because the drivers location never changed from that 200 meters away spot. Went to the restaurant myself and ordered again. Had to pay again ofcourse and could finally enjoy my food at 19:40.
The restaurant also believed that i didnt get it because why would you come to the restaurant yourself and order again for +-40 euros.
In the end lieferando still refuses to refund because i didnt pickup the phone and it would harm the restaurant to refund. Yess Sherlock. you shouldnt blame the restaurant for this. Pay yourself. Not the restaurant.
Never ever will i order again. You open a ticket to discuss this and you get told no without any compassion

Yeah sure and your customer tells you it hasn't. Shameless, don't order with this service. Some people have to work for their money instead of taking it from someone else.

I ordered food from Leiferando and did not receive it. On contacting the customer service they are refusing to refund my money stating that is is their loss to refund money. Neither did the delivery person call me or arrive at my door. Very very u professional and disappointing customer service

Horrible. I ordered a pizza and forgot to add delivery. So the resturant asked me to reorder it with delivery. I ordered the same thing and then paid twice. Now they are saying then wont provide refund

I've used Lieferando for a while, but the failure of customer service is now beyond bad to the point where I'm having to stop using it, and I'd strongly recommend that people save their money and don't risk using this system.
I get that sometimes orders have problems, but the policy now seems to be to automatically refuse refunds when that happens "because it would cause a loss for their partners", at which point it's basically just an aggregator for small-scale theft. I don't usually go out and leave bad reviews for minor problems with orders, but I've now had a week of being blatantly lied to by Lieferando's support staff, who instead of filing a refund for an order that nobody attempted to deliver chose to write back to me falsely claiming that I wasn't in or answering my phone when they tried to deliver: which is pretty bare-faced given I can see my call logs with no calls made to me, and given I know precisely where I was located (in a one-room flat with a loud doorbell which nobody has ever had difficulty ringing or finding in the past).
I expect there'll be some automated message popping up under this asking me to contact the company by email. I have done, repeatedly, and I've been given untrue claims, and no help or support at all, every time. The company knows exactly what it needs to do to fix the problem in my case, it's a problem of doing it.
Short version: no useable customer support, if anything goes wrong with an order say goodbye to your money, this app has cost me too much of my sanity and its "support" staff have just repeatedly lied to me instead of resolving problems.

We got the wrong order delivered. The delivery person was not willing to help and the online chat support was a useless chatbot that did not even try to address the question. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the complete absence of customer centric support is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs. There are better alternatives.

My order with Lieferando (order number J7TTBR / 1103324237) was delivered incorrectly.
I ordered and paid for 4× Coca-Cola Light 1.5 L.
What I received was 4× Coca-Cola Light 0.33 L.
I have tried all available official support channels:

Reporting the issue directly via the order
Every path leads exclusively to the same chatbot, which cannot resolve the issue and only asks to rephrase the request.
There is no phone number and no way to escalate the case to a human agent.
The merchant Alfies confirmed that they do not stock Coca-Cola Light 1.5 L and therefore cannot offer a replacement.
I was correctly referred to Lieferando for a refund.
Since I was charged for items that were not delivered, I believe I am entitled to a refund of the incorrectly charged amount.
I hope this issue can be resolved promptly.
If it is resolved, I am happy to update my review accordingly.

Bad my order said delivered but I never received it’s it seems if the rider knows your code they can use it against you. Unfortunately the code never changes so it’s trash. Use fodora instead people .

Cold food because the website defaults to locations further away. From 15th instead of 9th district, 30 min instead of 3 min. Has happened before. They were no help.

Ordered food in vienna via their app and was never delivered. We stayed in airbnb and asked tjem to phone us but they never phoned. Then tried to reach their live chat and got a stupid AI chat which totally didnt give any good answer that helped. Finally reach them by phone after the restaurant gave me the number and the support agent starting telling us that we gave wrong number. Their app doesnt even show the history or the number we gave and I am sure I gave the correct number. Checked google reviews and also there many complaints from people who had the same issue.
Dont order here, use another app to order food

If I could give a zero! I would! Waited for my order for almost 2 hours. It arrived without a straw, it was warm when it was supposed to be a cold milk tea, paid 15€ for just one milk tea and almost 4€ delivery fee. It arrived warm, no straw, 2 hours of waiting, it tasted disgusting! The customer service just said the driver arrived 15 minutes, etc. yes! After 2 HOURS of placing the order! And just said “I wish you a lovely weekend”! Disgusting!!!! I will never recommend Lieferando. Foodora has so much better customer service than this!!

Edit after reply: See, this is what a mean by awful customer support. My review clearly states that they didn't answer any of my messages to support. They didn't even take a second to read the review and send me their basic reply template asking me to contact support. Awful, terrible company. Pretty much a scam at this point.
The worst customer support I ever came across. Order was supposed to arrive 36 hours ago and they still haven't answered to any of messages to support. The bad AI they use instead links you to broken links. Uber eats and Wolt are infinitely better, don't waste your time and money on this app. Abysmal, I'm still waiting for an answer as I write this.

Easy online booking, usually timely delivery, good food quality
Whilst playing an order from a restaurant the delivery closed and only "pick up" option was placed on the Website without my knowledge. Neither a refund was issued nor a driver was sent to deliver my food. The customer Service (Rene) was atrocious, trying to make me believe that I chose a wrong option, which is impossible as I never changed my default "delivery" option.

The order said it would be delivered in 20-40 minutes. After an hour, still no order. I called the restaurant and they said they hadn't received it. There was no way to cancel the order and no way to reach human customer service.
It finally arrived after 2 hours. I emailed with customer service twice. They said that they don't support cancelling orders and it wasn't sufficiently delayed to issue a refund or credit. Definitely won't use this service again.
Update: following the company's response below, I emailed again and they said once again that they would do nothing. It seems they just wanted to pretend publicly that they care.
