I absolutely do not recommend Lidl Connect.
I bought a prepaid SIM card expecting a simple and quick process, but the experience was the opposite. The activation process was extremely slow: it took 3 days for the SIM card to be activated, with no clear confirmation messages or information about what was happening.
During that time the system was confusing and unclear. After trying several times to activate the SIM card, I started receiving notifications about contracts and charges that I never requested or agreed to.
The most unbelievable part is that they are now trying to charge me 200 Swiss francs as a “cancellation fee” for a supposed contract that I never asked for. All of this for a prepaid SIM card that cost only a few francs and that I barely even used.
The activation system is poorly designed, the information is unclear, and they end up generating completely disproportionate charges.
⚠️ Be very careful before buying a SIM card here. If you are looking for something simple and transparent, I strongly recommend choosing another provider.
