Review of the Letus Helix Jr.
In september 2016 I bought a Letus Helix Jr. blown away by the idea and concepts of the Letus Helix Jr..
BUT things were different in the real world due to serious quality issues with assembly and soldering with the Helix. Also setup of the Helix Jr. wasn't quite easy. After having serious trouble with my second replacment Helix Jr. I was instructed by Letus, over Skype, how to diagnose and repair the bad quality soldering work inside the Helix Jr. I was shocked to be asked to repair my self but even more to see what was inside the control box of the Helix Jr. First of all some of the worst soldering I've ever seen, but also small circuit boards flowing loosely around in the box without insulation etc. These issues with the Helix Jr. has cost me countless hours of wasted time, embarrassing on set moments with clients, and endless discussions with Letus. In my opinion there are far better alternatives like the Ronin and others out there... Letus want's to replace it for the third time but I've completely lost faith in both the product and Letus. So I am giving up, losing my money... Should have bought a DJI Ronin in stead.. Letus, I think you have to reconsidder your small customer approach, seriously..
