I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other customers should be aware of my experience.

I ordered a pair of progressive prescription glasses from Lensmart and uploaded my prescription as requested. At no stage during the ordering process was I asked to provide my Pupillary Distance (PD), which is essential for manufacturing progressive lenses correctly. The website accepted my order and payment without requesting this information.

When the glasses arrived, they were unusable. After contacting customer service, they confirmed that they had manufactured the lenses using a default international PD rather than my actual measurement. They also acknowledged that a difference in PD can affect visual clarity and the wearing experience.

Instead of taking responsibility for an ordering process that allowed the purchase to go ahead without an essential measurement, they repeatedly sent template responses stating that my prescription did not include a PD and offered only one solution: pay an additional US$76 (later reduced by 20%) to have the lenses remade.

By this point, I had already been forced to buy another pair of prescription glasses from a local optician at considerable expense because I needed glasses I could actually wear.

What disappointed me most was not the mistake itself, but the complete lack of customer care. Despite numerous emails, no one addressed my main concern: if a PD is essential for progressive lenses, why was I never asked for it before my order was accepted?

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Lensmart. If you are ordering progressive lenses, make absolutely sure every measurement has been requested before placing your order, as you may otherwise end up paying twice.

I love the frame of the style of their glasses, the quality is also amazing.

placed 2 seperate orders and never recieved anything ,they do not give actual usps tracking information, a scam is what they are luckily got my money back because of the third party insurance when you check out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

The sunglasses i received is great quality. The frames are amazing and the fit perfect. The delivery was fast and I got exactly what I ordered.

It took exactly 16 from the day I placed my order until I got them in the mail. My glasses are so cute and the quality is amazing. Most importantly, I can see. They got my prescription perfect. I did send a few emails because I wasn't sure about the customization period versus the shipping period. If you don't have a prescription you'll get your glasses quick. My prescription is rather complicated so it took some time. All in all I will definitely being ordering more pairs, and I love how the glasses came with a case and a wipe cloth included in the order. Such a great company and they responded to every single email I sent within 24 hours. If you're questioning getting a pair, JUST DO IT!!!!...

I recently purchased a pair of sunglasses from Lansmart, and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the quality. The glasses are stylish and comfortable to wear, which is a big plus for me. I also appreciated that they offer a good range of styles to choose from.

When it comes to customer service, my experience was positive as well. I had a small issue with my order, but the team was quick to respond and genuinely helpful. They resolved my concern without any hassle, which made the whole process feel smooth. Overall, I would definitely recommend Lansmart for both their products and their customer support.

I would strongly advise against ordering prescription glasses from Lensmart.

The frames themselves were nice, but that’s where the positives end.

One pair of my prescription glasses was not usable, as the prescription did not appear to match what I had ordered. I contacted customer service well within the return period and provided everything they requested, including photos and multiple explanations of the issue.

Instead of offering a clear resolution, I was repeatedly asked more questions while my actual request for a replacement or refund was ignored. Every response felt like another delay rather than an attempt to resolve the problem.

The most frustrating part was that I raised the issue within the return period, yet the process dragged on with no meaningful outcome. As a customer, it felt like I was being sent in circles instead of being helped.

I eventually had to pay to have the lenses replaced locally because I no longer had confidence that the issue would be resolved properly. That completely defeats the purpose of ordering prescription glasses online.

If you’re buying non-prescription frames, you may have a better experience. However, based on my experience, I would not trust Lensmart with prescription lenses or rely on their after-sales customer service.

Cheap prices mean very little if you receive glasses that aren’t usable and then struggle to get the issue resolved.

Lensmart glasses really surprised me. First, they arrived 2 weeks from ordering. Second, they are of high quality and fit perfectly and comfortably on the face. Third and most important, I was impressed that they got my prescription 100% correct. The lens is super clear. I am grateful o got them.

Review is actually ZERO stars….This is further to my previous review in April.
They sent me spectacles which were not what I ordered as per the description on their webpage.
They are breaking UK LAW (consumer rights act 2015) by only offering me a partial refund, when I am entitled to a full refund given they sent wrong size frames.
This has been going on since March and they only reply with the same standard e mail which is only from supposedly ‘customer service’. No name to contact.
If you want good customer service you certainly WILL NOT GET IT WITH LENSMART.
I am now taking it much further to get my refund.

Frames are of excellent quality and even better customer service really

I bought a pair of glasses from this store and the experience has been terrible. The material is extremely cheap and poor quality.

When I contacted customer service to complain, they told me I could return them, but I had to pay for the shipping costs myself. Shipping the item back from Spain to California costs between 15€ and 20€, which is more than the actual refund value of the glasses (15€).

It is completely unfair to make the customer lose money for a product that doesn't meet basic quality standards. I had to open a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Do not trust the good reviews on their website, they seem fake.

Update: Once I opened a dispute with my bank, they automatically emailed me asking me to close it, promising a refund only AFTER they received the item back (knowing transit costs are absurd). Do not fall for this trap! If you close the dispute, you lose all your rights and you won't get your money back. Worst customer service ever.

Absolute cheap products and for optical glasses the worst quality, so much that opticians rejected them.
Costumer service WOULD NOT accept my returns request. Avoid at all cost

Any time I have had an issue with my glasses they fix it. Customer service is great. Lensmart takes pride and making sure that you get your glasses on time and that you get quality glasses. My experience has been great using them. I have bought several pairs of glasses through them.

So affordable and the quality is just amazing!
It’s lightweight and so comfortable. I got a spec in Joyce and a sunglasses in Mateo and I couldn’t have asked for better! I absolutely love them and will definitely be ordering more
