Added me to their email list without consent

You really don't wanna wake up one morning and read an email welcoming you to an email list you never subscribed to and you have no interest in.

They purchased my name and email address, added me to theit email list without my direct consent and sent unsolicited marketing emails.

Their parent company is P+G or Procter and Gamble that uses shady if not illegal practices of getting email lists and followers.

The email and the website look like a scam.

Trying to unsubscribe is really difficult. Instead of standard unsubscription, you have to fill the form with your data which I bet legitimizes the whole process for them as you are now giving your data freely (lol). I can only imagine it's some GDPR loophole.

In the end, I had to call them to make sure my data is deleted.

Bad marketing, bad practices, no personalization but also any respect for the users. if they are compliant with privacy laws it's by the skin of their teeth.
