However disappointing to be charged £99 just to add a country
I suggest that instead of having to list the countries you are visiting you do as other insurance companies do and make Europe one destination

I don't like the automatic renewal process. I was too busy to respond to the notification email and now I've been stung for the renewal premium whether I like it or not.

When you originally purchased your policy through Leisure Guard, the auto-renewal process was clearly explained as part of the online purchase journey and formed part of the terms and conditions agreed to before the policy was purchased.
Information about auto-renewal is also included in the policy wording, confirmation documents issued at the time of purchase, and our FAQs.
We also emailed you on 26 August 2026 with your renewal invitation, renewal premium, and clear instructions on how to opt out if you did not want the policy to renew.
As the policy was purchased last year, there was ample opportunity to review the renewal information and switch off auto-renewal before the renewal date.
We appreciate that renewal emails can sometimes be overlooked, particularly when life is busy, but we did provide advance notice and clear instructions on the steps required to prevent renewal.
If you were unsure about any aspect of the renewal, our telephone number and email address were included within the renewal correspondence and policy documentation, and our team would have been happy to assist before the policy renewed.
If you no longer require the policy, please contact us on 01293 855 960 and we can cancel this and issue a full refund.
