Kevin Griffiths is in no way involved in the company's operations. To receive the product, I had to contact the manufacturer in Germany.

What’s funny is that the German company, which sells franchises to people in many countries, does not check the quality of the services offered, even though it should be an advertisement for their brand.

The shoes are good, but I definitely do not recommend the site in Ireland. You can buy directly from Germany.

Scam.
You will probably receive the shoes. But there’s no communication whatsoever. And you WILL NOT be able to return as the address doesn’t exist. Shoes were returned to sender (me) after being out for delivery for a month and the address wasn’t found.
I emailed every single email on the website/purchase email and never received any sort of response.

Does this company actually exist?
Besides from the order confirmation, no response and no email informing that they don't deliver outside UK & Ireland. Paid online 29/10/2023 and still haven't seen any refund after many efforts in contacting this company. I don't recommend them at all, even one star is too much !!!

Please note the account below is not entirely about Leguano Ireland, and is about a somewhat trying experience I had, where Leguano Ireland in the end was very much the saviour.
I write this, hoping it might help others interacting online, both for what customers may be made aware of and for sellers to perhaps be transparent and understanding.

I needed a pair of formal looking vegan barefoot shoes for a close friends wedding, and searched for many days online to find an "affordable", suitable pair of shoes.
Initially came across another site and brand, assuming it was legitimate, and in my rush paid for that pair, only to receive no email confirmation or communication from them.
I detailed the entire account to PayPal, who concluded the case was in my favor and the cash got refunded. The site was also reported to the National Cyber Security Centre, NCSC.

Realised what to look for in fraudulent sites (weirdly too good to be true, lacking proper contact and delivery information, social media links going nowhere) and continued to search.

Came across Leguano shoes some while previously but it was the US site I think, and the prices were.. well a bit out of budget, so when coming across Leguano Ireland, my alarm bells were slightly ringing thunder !! Yet, the site looked very real, plenty of information on barefoot shoes and lots more. Checked for a suitable vegan shoe and did come across one that was lovely, but still felt unsure.

Carried on looking further across other brands and sites but nothing felt quite as right. Seemed it was going to be the pair from Leguano Ireland. Not being entirely certain, I sent a short message in the onsite help chat. Received a reply within 24hrs from a very understanding gentlemen who explained the timing of dispatch and delivery according to the recommended size. After a short back and forth via email, I made the online purchase, confirmed it with the gentleman and waited. Still very cautious after being conned, did write to him asking for an update on the delivery and dispatch schedule, which I did receive a very reassuring reply for, and shortly after received a beautiful pair of shoes.

Short conclusion :
After dealing with many online stores, it does seem delivery and dispatch can take various durations even from the same store, from item to item.
Logistical reasons I guess, but if in doubt, message or call to confirm stock availability and any other queries with the store before placing the order.

Do very much recommend Leguano Ireland, great shoes, delivered as discussed with the seller. 5 stars

ps. most good antivirus software installed with internet protection should safely block away fraudulent sites, in case it doesn't, helps to know what to look out for

I ordered a pair of boots atvthe beginning of January 2023 and paid online. 2months later no sign of the boots and tbey didn't return my money as they promised. I don't recommend them at all!!!

Very poor communication and service. Unfortunately, the good shoe is linked with a negligent franchise. I will have no further business dealings with them.

Shocking service. Ii ordered shoes in October, which finally arrived after endless chases at the end of January. Why would Leguano allow this person to continue with the franchise is beyond me.

I ordered a pair of Energy Black barefoot shoes from the Irish supplier over 4 weeks ago. Apart from the order confirmation, I've heard nothing. An email asking for an ETA of shipment has been met with no response. So disappointed - the shoes I ordered look fantastic and I was looking forward to receiving them in time for Xmas. I will be attempting to cancel my order this weekend if I hear nothing back - just a wall of silence so far.

I received a pair of Kosmo boots and Activ shoes a week ago. Both are very attractive and generally super comfortable. The seller was very helpful while I was deciding which models to buy, and he happily answered my questions. There was a delay in shipping, and very little communication from the seller after I'd paid online. I've worn the boots a few times, and the inside seam on one of them rubs against my foot (it hasn't been sewn as neatly as the seam in the other boot). I've emailed the seller about this and received no response.

Absolutely love my new aktiv white shoes from Leguano & I appreciated my updates from Kevin when my order was delayed. Cannot wait to get on on the road jogging. Would highly recommend using leguano for your everyday shoes.

Hi, I ordered Classic Black 1 x €79.00 Order No 1589966306, 12 days ago. I have received no update on shipping. I chased a few days ago by email and received no response. Seems like no one is home!!!

Shoes are the best ever!!!!!!!
Highly recommended for kids and grown ups our toddler loves them.

Order took 3 weeks to arrive though.

Ordered shoes March 25th 2021 for a birthday gift April 8th 2021. It is now 23rd May and no sign of the shoes, having been dragged along on the promise they were arriving next week for months I have now cancelled my order. Dismal communication!

Shoes are excellent, delivery slow.
Bought Gentle and City Black, both appear to be well made, finished and fit well. Supremely comfortable and don't look as odd as many of my barefoot shoes.
Would have happily given five stars if delivery had been quicker. Eleven days is a long time to wait for an ex-stock delivery.

I am absolutely thrilled with my Leguano shoes. I have bought other barefoot shoes in the past but the quality of these Leguanos is streets ahead.
Kevin was exceptionally helpful - and very indeed patient with my dithering over my choice. Next time I need new shoes I'll most certainly be back!

Brilliant shoes. Bought my first pair in Germany, recommended by my sisterinlaw in Ireland! Great.

I purchased two pairs of shoes. These are the comfiest shoes in the world. You don't even know you are wearing them. Cheap shoes are a false economy. Save up and buy a pair of these shoes and you will not regret it or be disappointed. Highly recommended. Absolutely fantastic.
