Absolute rip-off

Absolute rip-off. £60 to store two people's airline hand baggage for under four hours. Leave time to go to one of the many nearby alternatives. Don't get caught out like use

Lost my bag on a train and was returned…

Lost my bag on a train and was returned in good time, however someone in the process has clearly stolen from my bag, items inside multiple bags inside my bags have been taken all easily hid inside pockets, including £50 and expensive wireless mouse, tobacco and other smoking accessories, all these items were deep inside my bag and hidden inside various bags and compartments none of which easy to access by anyone other than the person who searched my bag for liquids.

I left by baggage at the baggage…

I left by baggage at the baggage service area for about 4 hours with them when I got to my destination Airport I realized that my bag was open and an item was taken from it. These people stole from me and went into my belongings on the day that I trusted them with my bag.
Make sure that your bags have a locked if you decide to leave it in terminal 5

London Euston lost property office

After travelling from Glasgow Central to London Euston overnight, I realised that I had left my DSLR camera and lens under the seat table. Thankfully, a cleaner found it, handed it over to Anna at Avanti West Coast, and Jonatan and Carlos reunited me with it at the lost property office! One delighted photo-journalist!

Beware of Waterloo Station Site

Visited the site at Waterloo station. Asked about prices that were different from what was advertised online. The agent had a bolshie, confrontational attitude with no communication skills. I listened to a diatribe. Clearly inadequate. I asked if he was the owner and perhaps I should make them aware of his attitude. He said he was the owner. I told the managing office at Network Rail who laughed and said they were aware of this guy and that he was just someone who parked bags. Doesn't seem to be a place adequately managed or to entrust your luggage with. Fortunately there are other more professional baggage holders in the immediate vicinity who seem to value customers.

Incidentally, tried to contact this company to make them aware. Couldn't get response to my email. Everything about this company suggests incompetence and inadequacy.

I booked this for ease so we didn’t…

I booked this for ease so we didn’t have to carry our luggage around Edinburgh for a couple of hours. I will never use again as one female staff member in particular was so rude! Quite expensive as well for what it is. I’d recommended using the one in the shopping centre instead as a lot cheaper and the staff are wonderful and polite

A super service.

I had planned to have a day in Liverpool on the way back from a holiday just after New Year, and since I would be taking the train home from Lime Street Train Station in the evening, I was happy to find that I could leave my luggage with Excess Baggage, which is conveniently located on the main concourse. The two members of staff were efficient and good humoured (one was Welsh, so of course he was!) and both the drop-off and the collection were speedy, especially since I had booked online in advance, so I only had to show my order confirmation on my mobile phone. Reasonable day-long rate. I couldn't have wished for more.

Rip off!! Avoid..

AVOID AVOID !! Rip off.. £45 for 3hrs 27mins..
two backpacks and a carrier bag stored..
£7.50 per item uk to 3hrs.. 1 minute after 3hrs and it’s £15 per item..
When I asked if there could be a concession as the train got delayed to terminal 5, I was told that’s the price and the person didn’t make the rules..def won’t be using this company again.. since found out most airlines will store for free until flight is ready to board.

Hand-search

The service at Edinburgh Waverley station is conveniently located and seemed to operate efficiently. However, it is very expensive (£15 for a six-hour period, mid-day to early evening).

The reason for my low rating is that it seemed that all bags were being hand-searched before the X-ray took place (rather than selectively to follow up potential issues shown by the X-ray) and this was done in a relatively small space in full view of other customers queuing.

The FAQ page on the Website warns that a hand-search "may" be required, but I find it unacceptable that this is carried out in public view.
