This is an honest review of Leet Resume - I was interested to know how I could improve my resume and bypass the ATS resume reading systems but the resume I "tipped" (really, paid) for was slimmed down. I do agree with their blog post in general about recruiters just trying to sift through, but I lost some of the magic. Also, it's not pdf friendly, which I think is horrible. A resume needs to be available as both PDF and .doc, here, the formatting only works as a .doc. And to be honest, still not getting any interviews. So a lot of what they say is super overhyped. I don't think I should have had to pay $40 because much of my wording may have been cleaned up, but the details are gone. And with no new interviews for the last month, my impression: I just hired an editor. Not really any writing or helping me to stand out. The point of paying for the resume is supposed to get me a job. So not having any leads makes my experience really disappointing.

Edit to the reply: I have reached out once, especially about the PDF conversion, the answer I received is different than your reply here. Of course I know I can just export as PDF, but the issue is uploading to an ATS system, it still messes everything up. Especially for those "pre-fill" applications. And you guys don't have an email available direct to a customer service line. Obviously, the rep who answered me gave me a different answer to your reply, why would I want to keep talking to her?

When I needed to update my resume, after more than a decade of not needing to do it, I thought I'd give this service a try, before paying a more "professional writer", which would cost a lot.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the result! I don't feel at all that I need another pair of eyes.
Surely, I had to adjust a few words here and there, but they did a very good job of synthesizing my experience and finding a great title and good keywords to include. The format is clean, simple, and effective.
Although the design of the tipping page makes it look a bit like you have to tip to see the resume, there is an option to skip the tipping altogether. So you can always take a look first and, if you like it, go back and tip them.

UPDATE- 1 month later, I'm not kidding, I have had 4 interviews since I started sending out my new resume after hardly ever getting any! Thank you again!!
I have been trying to get my resume to stand out for a couple years and just hadn't been able to do much with it. I was hesitant to use this service but gave it a try and they did an AWESOME job with my resume and the turnaround time was quicker than anticipated. I was so excited to start sending it out. The 'tip' was a no-brainer to me because people can charge over $100 for resume writing and even re-writes. So, I think what they are doing is so great. Especially for people who aren't working and struggling financially because they do give you an option to opt-out of the tip and you just explain your situation. Thanks again to Leet!

I was hesitant to use the service but after my "old" resume was not attracting hits, I decided to give it a try. I am very happy with the rewrite and would definitely recommend this service.

I'm slightly annoyed by the marketing but pleased with the result and feel that I got a good value. They delivered it within two days of starting and were communicative the whole time.

My resume presents me to the world more effectively than it did when I wrote it for myself, and it is properly formatted for modern HR systems.

When the rewritten resume was made available to me, I did not see a way to preview it at full resolution without "tipping". So that's why I say it's not really free. It's more of a sliding scale setup. It's fine. People gotta eat.

The emails from Marc Cenedella company LEET Resume are not 100% accurate, they do write you a resume but you are not able to review the work unless you provide a tip or if you click on can not afford a tip, you must provide a reason why you can't leave a tip for them to review with in 48 to determine if they will provide the resume. I was willing to tip but wanted to review the resume first to determine the amount Tip range is $40-$80 or another amount.
after emails back and forth with Marc Cenedella I came to the conclusion unless you tip you get no resume. The website is misleading and although they may have some good review I wonder how truthful they are. I would not recommend this company to any professional group or individual to create a resume.

This is a total SCAM. They offer "free" resume, but there is NOTHING free about it. They collect ALL of your personal and work history information and then hold your new resume ransom until you pay them. If you don't .. they STILL get all of your data, and wasted your time.

Thank you so much for helping with my resume! It looks much clearer and easier to read, and you whittled my long paragraphs to targeted bullet points. I deeply appreciate that there was an option for me to have my resume reviewed for free, as I have limited funds as a volunteer in Nepal.

They did a really great job of taking my already professionally done resume and making even better. They reformatted it into a very standard style that is super easy to read and hits most all key ATS words in my profession. They were more than generous in understanding my situation, very quick to act and very responsive via email.
