Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 44 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the products to be of poor quality, often arriving broken or not as advertised, and felt they were significantly overpriced for what they received. Reviewers frequently mentioned that the items were cheap, flimsy, and not worth the high price charged, with some comparing them to products found in budget stores. Additionally, many people reported issues with their orders, including not receiving promised free items or the entire order not arriving at all. The return policy and process were a major source of frustration for customers, who described it as convoluted, difficult, and designed to deter returns. Many struggled to get a return address or receive a refund, with some noting that the return address was in the US, requiring them to pay for shipping and insurance.

One star because there’s no option for…

One star because there’s no option for zero stars 😡.
Unfortunately I placed my order ( from the professional swish “London based” company) before these other reviews. The promised free small lamp never arrived, the floor lamp was cheap plastic and flimsy - certainly not worth £90+.
Initially had return instructions back to an address in Spain - I alerted them about the potential tariff they’d need to pay- but they didn’t pay- so, the parcel was returned to me. This led to dozens of back and forth emails with various promises, none of which materialised. Now in the hands of AMEX who are investigating and will hopefully use their might to close them down. Do Not buy from these scammers

DO NOT TRUST OR ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I wish I looked at the reviews first. I never received a confirmation email or the actual product. I have contacted my credit card company. The emails listed to contact them are incorrect and there is no phone number listed.

Nearly a complete scam

Nearly a complete scam. ‘Free’ lamp never arrived, and the two lights that did arrive were not the type I ordered. Customer services initially responsive but soon went quiet. Disputed and refunded by American Express who are hopefully chasing down these scammers. Avoid!

Scam alert !!!!!!

ÉCLAT NOIR !!
I have experienced exactly the same as everyone else who has reviewed this disgusting Company !
I tried to send back a sub std product, only to be met with a convoluted return process and a multitude of very protracted delaying processes.
I did make a claim through PayPal and when they got wind of this, they promised to refund my payment in full if I retracted the claim.
Like other decent trusting souls before me, I was stupidly naive and I did stop the claim. Sadly, since I gave in, they have stopped returning my e mails.
Whatever you do, read the reviews and don't fall for the deciept of these crooks like we have done !

Do not trust this Company

Do not trust this Company. Poor quality and they sent the wrong lamps with no contact details. I requested a dispute with PayPal then Eclat Noir emailed to say if I cancelled my dispute they would refund me which I foolishly did. Despite many emails of promise (a delaying tactic) and 2 months later I still have no refund or information where to send my return to get one.

Dont order from here. Junk products and expensive.

This website didn't have a trustpilot review when I ordered my 2pcs of corner lights + free gift for my office. The website and price reflect a high quality product. I received 1 corner light first which I opened and immediately saw that it is junk. Very little light, horrible materials and even the colour options for the lights are horrible. I saw after I ordered that the same lights that I paid £70 on Ecol Mor costs around £12 on Amazon.
I never received my free gift light.
I requested to return the items they sent and they accepted but then stopped emailing back. I have flagged this up with my credit card company hoping that can help me. DONT ORDER

Scam company

Scam company. The product is overpriced and flimsy. Not as advertised in their online video postings. The free lamp never arrived. Customer service is also a scam.as they initially respond but it is just a time wasting exercise as they never send details of address to return the product to then stop responding to messages.

Scam website

Scam website. Promised free additional item that was never included. Paid over 100£ for a product that is worth 10/20£ max. Returns policy is ridiculous stating that you must not have assembled the product that is packed disassembled - not sure how you can establish if you like it or not. Stay away.

A complete and deliberate scam.

A complete and deliberate scam.

Like many others here, I was misled by the very European-sounding company name and polished Facebook ads. Everything about the marketing was carefully designed to look legitimate. Only after receiving the tracking number did I discover the product was shipping from China—with a 17-day delivery window. That’s when the red flags became obvious.

I immediately contacted the company to cancel the order. They refused and instead gave the usual scammer response: “refuse delivery or return it for a refund.” Conveniently, the package was delivered when I wasn’t home, so refusing delivery wasn’t an option. When I asked for return instructions, they responded days later with a ridiculous, non-fillable PDF that explicitly prohibited handwritten information—clearly another tactic to stall the process.

Despite the hurdles, I managed to digitally edit and submit their absurd form. Since then? Radio silence. No replies. No confirmation. Nothing.

The package itself looked so cheap and flimsy that I didn’t even bother opening it—exactly what you’d expect from a low-quality drop-shipping operation masquerading as a European brand.

This is a textbook scam: delay, deflect, ignore—until the charge on your credit card becomes permanent and you’re stuck. You are then completely at the mercy of these dishonest, fly-by-night Chinese scammers who have zero intention of honoring refunds.

I have disputed the charge with Apple Card and received a provisional refund, which tells you everything you need to know. I fully expect never to hear back from this company again.

Avoid at all costs.

Fraudulent company do not use.

Fraudulent company do not use.
After receiving my lamp, with no free lamp as promised, I found the quality to be poor and not as described. The company provides two email addresses one of which is not valid and the email returns.
They do not provide a return address or have a return function on the website and therefore customers rely only on the company providing the detail, which they will not.
After eventually contacting them I received email after email stating due to high demand over Black Friday and their 10th Anniversary it would take time to get a response regarding a return. I have received no information and have lodged a complaint to the credit card company and Citizens Advice (Trading Standards).
