Taken money without my permission. Reported to my bank.

scam website- placed to trick a subscription that looked like a verification that i was not a bot- had to change card detail to cancel

This is a scam website. They charged me £29.90 for an alleged subscription - that I did not sign up to and had never heard of the company before I saw my credit card statement. They also go by Targettides.com or Targett Ides.

This company is a fraud. Trick you with commercial in an app you're using to subscribe when you think you are using the actual app. Will steel your money under the disguise of an subscription.

I was scammed by them as I thought I was clicking on confirm ID and only saw £0 but within a couple of days £29.90 taken from my credit card. Now been refunded as I got a fraud alert but definitely scammers as I didn’t even know their name until told by card company and never received any confirmation of a subscription or T&Cs
Avoid and report.

Scam had no idea I set up subscription on Apple Pay

Avoid at all costs if you can , no idea what I clicked on to be charged by them but they have changed their name to readers world obviously to get away with more scams , they need reporting by everyone

Scam! Avoid. Same thing happened to me. £29.99 taken out last month and today without my knowing or authorisation. Bank says this is a known business model where you are looking at a site and it gets you to inadvertently subscribe. Banks can reissue your money for up to 128 days.

Learn Grows has a good collection of ebooks across multiple topics. The lessons are simple, and the website is easy to navigate.

Scam company, tried take like €29.99 out of my account. Never even heard of them, thankfully my bank flagged it. Don't have a clue where they could have got my details from though as even had an email off them but I never signed up to anything

LearnGrows matched what I was looking for. The material was clearly explained and easy to understand, even when covering topics that were new to me. I appreciated the consistent structure across lessons, which made it easier to stay engaged. Overall, it was a smooth and straightforward learning experience.

Positive platform for learning. Easy to register, and I liked the weekly check-ins and feedback. Four stars because the mobile version lagged at times, but the learning experience remained strong.

This is a scam site. They have taken 3 payments from my credit card of £29. I have no idea how they have got my details. I have put a block on my account to stop them. Disgusting.

This is a Scam- I have never signed up for this service- yet have seen that two transactions of £29. 90 have been taken from my account. The bank are now aware and will block any future payments

Scam site, it is impossible to cancel. I reported them to my bank and despite emailing a cancellation and followups, they have again tried to take money from my account.
Thankfully blocked by my bank

This company has taken an amount without my knowledge from my bank account and also tried to take a monthly subscription which luckily my bank declined . I have been in contact with them since 17/12/2025 and still the matter has not been resolved !!
Avoid this company at all cost !!

Like all others, it’s a scam.

Steps to get money back:

1. Contact your bank via app
2. Say “Dispute payment”
3. They will refund the payment taken from you
4. Ask to block vendor

Scam I can’t find a webpage for them. I have no idea what this business is, I never knowingly signed up for anything. I have not received any email. They took money from my account which I’ve reported as a scam
