Darren was incredibly patient, helpful and funny. He made me feel comfortable instantly, and even on anxious days found a way to calm me down. Would recommend him 10/10 times, he is the reason I passed first time.
Darren was a fantastic instructor, had me test ready in a week after almost half a year off of driving and passed my test first time. Explains everything extremely well and in a simple way so it’s easy to understand. Can’t recommend him enough!
I learned to drive with Darren, and he was amazing. He really takes the time to make sure you understand everything and is incredibly supportive, especially when it comes to getting you into that “pass mindset.”
He doesn’t just teach you to pass your test, he teaches you everything you need to know once you’ve passed too. I was with a few other driving schools before Darren, and I found that they would slow you down and park up just to chat. Darren is completely different. Once you’re confident, he puts you in the deep end, which really helps you learn to drive much quicker.
I’d recommend Darren to everyone I know who wants driving lessons!
After not driving for a while I had some refresher lessons with Darren at the end of last year and he was fantastic. He built my confidence and thanks to him I passed my test in February of this year! He is an incredible instructor with lots of patience and really helped me to get where I needed to be. Definitely recommend!

Learned to drive with Darren in 2025 - 2026. He is easily the best teacher I have ever had in my entire life. He is the most understanding, funny man who listened to me talk for hours whilst still teaching me to drive in a super way. I always felt safe and calm in his presence and he always gave me confidence in my skills. I am extremely happy and grateful I passed but a little sad that I cant drive with him anymore.
