Don't want to do business with people like me
I went to their website to request information. There was a box to uncheck if you did not want a phone call. I unchecked it. I later received a phone call from a Lear representative. I was telling him I did not want to receive a phone call. He abruptly cut me off and said "we don't want to do business with people like you" and hung up. People like me keep you in business, but as directed, I will go elsewhere to do business

As for the "checkbox," we have passed your concerns along to our marketing team. As we are primarily over-the-phone business, it wouldn't make sense for us to not use the phone for follow up. The checkbox--though we can absolutely see how this could be unclear--agrees to "using autodialed/auto-selected, AI technology, artificial voice and prerecorded calls or text/SMS messages with marketing offers," not phone calls from our staff providing personalized outreach.
Again, we are so sorry for the confusion and the miscommunication. We truly appreciate you taking the time to speak further with us after this frustrating experience, and we hope to redeem your experience with us in the near future.

I rate our experience an A+++. Dimitri was so very helpful....above and beyond expectations. His experience and knowledge helped us decide our purchase. He explained all our options. His patience in answering a bazillion questions empowered us to make decisions. We had a little hiccup getting the money from our bank, but Dmitri provided everything we needed, and even helped us find a local place to mail the check. We feel like we have a friend in Dmitri!
